You know what though? I haven't read every single post, but I to a large extent have pretty much stopped playing too, and his cited reason is one of the reasons. The devs didnt' make enough to truly give this game support. I bought this during beta, Last Dec, and stuck with it for what seemed like forever, and I genuinely don't feel like playing it much anymore, almost never do I want to actually play. I still launch it every once in a while, but invariably, the game is addled with disconnect

This isn't a driver version update I'm posting, so much as a sort of notice. CUDA enabled (8000 series or later) invida gpus now have an openCL (Open Compute Language) driver available, downloadable here . OpenCL is the new open standard API for gpgpus.

Vista is SP2, the .net framework (if that's what you're talking about) is already updated to sp1. I can't uninstall .net framework 3.5 at the moment, not sure the cause.
I'm getting from my search that this is related to .net framework. I'm running Vista x64, and my understanding is that .net framework 2.0 is not needed for x64, so I need to reinstall .net framework 3.5 in order to get this to work correctly again?
That's not a dual core processor, it's a single core pentium 4 with hyperthreading enabled...it just looks like two cores to the OS. I'm willing to bet it's a Dell 4300 or 4700. You probably have a pci-e slot, check your computers documentation and make sure, and if you do, you can probably get a radeon 4670 for about 80 USD (not sure what that would be in France, though if you're in canada it shouldn't be too much more, if you're in canada, go to NCIX.com and look for a radeon 4670, that sho
tell me about your computer...what brand is it and what is the model number, and what Operating system are you running.
a good inexpensive video card is the radeon 4670. It's about eighty dollars and would be more than enough to play the game.

First, a question...Do you have a broadband internet connection? Second, a comment, a 900 ping in a multiplayer peer to peer game is going to cause horrible lag for most of the people playing, that's likely why you're being kicked, not over any personal issue. I'm not sure if it's the routing of your packets to get to the games you try to play, the quality of the connection, (or it's just being slow as hell) or if you're using a dial up modem. I've had lower pings to hong kong and Russia is w
I personally, think the reccomended # of players per map is pretty good. I've played them in different ways and had them work and work well, but I think their reccomendations are pretty much right, too few on a large map can be far too long a game (though not always) and too many on a small map can be sort of spammy (though a good laugh sometimes). The point is that I tend to (when I host) set it up for the number of players the map reccomends.
I'm in PA, and a casual/for-fun player, hit me up. Though I do play more often than you do, usually once or twice a day (or more) but I have no aspirations to becoming a "Pro" player, nor any intrest in being 1337, nor does my ego hinge upon whether or not I do well at this, but yeah, contact me.
Hey Raio, I feel the same way about a lot of online gaming, I want to play for fun, have some laughs, but some people can't allow their gaming to be less than deadly serious...but I keep at it. Come play with me sometime, I'm literally the same age as you and have more of an fps background too, and feel similarly about the online community here.
jeez man, staggering stuns is such a common tactic at this point, I'm surprised you got done in by that.
PC Gamer is full of doo doo heads. We win.
that colllection of components is a really cheap gaming computer when put together...except that I left out the optical drive,...no, sorry the ddr2 is incompatible...There are a lot of user errors commited by people, often, when there is a problem, it's the builder (like a first time builders) fault. Not that they are doing anything terrible, but sometimes the reviews are full of grievances that they brought on themselves. IDK about that guys case. I have the same card in my office computer,
Contact HP and see if they make a bios that will support a more modern cpu. if they do, then you have a shot at running it IF you're willing to buy a new cpu for that comp. you also need to see the power output by your power supply, it should be written on the side of the power supply that you can access by removing the cover, to see if you can put in a more modern graphics card, anything you could use would require a good bit of power to run m
You could probably buy an inexpensive graphics card for that computer if you have a pcie slot...if you're interested.
