In before "mods are cheats".
o rly? then i'm DG's first cheater. that said, there's another solution to this (depending on what you want to do); give each mod it's own scratch file (or better yet, folder) that's isolated from the others and the rest of the computer.

your Radeon 9250 is far too old, and doesn't have the required goods to play the game. your machine is soo old it isn't funny. do yourself a favour; save up about $500USD, spend a weekend learning whats-what in current computer tech. and build yourself a new computer.
Generals can't command the NPC spawned units.
now they can't? i thought i recently read that they do that on top of their unique units.
ooh, ooh. pick me! TBO, take a look at the SupCom mod 'Mini-Commander'; that effectively makes maps bigger by shrinking everthing else down. tell me if you think that would work in DG and i might finish porting it over.
scouting will be (likely) the domain of the Generals, especially since they shall have some reign over what the Creeps do. is there an Assassin lurking in the FoW between here and there? is he clobbering those creeps by himself to get a quick level up? well, lets hold back a wave or two then flood him!
probably won't be playing as any of them; just scouring their codes so i can mod-in my own.
Impulse Reactor is an overall platform that allows developers to make use of a whole range of Internet services from Impulse without having to have Impulse loaded. So there is a DLL called ImpulseReactor.dll in with the game or application that uses it.
what will accessibilty of Reactor be to the bedroom developer (ala. me)? will there be a non-profit version available to use (with appropriate contractual restrictions)?
I played too much SupCom so I cant wait to play a stratagy game with strategic zoooooooooom!
me too, the first thing i'll be doing is unbinding the camera controls and putting the first beta's controls back in.
so far it's 8. there might be 10 on release, but that was rumours that have largely died down. GPG is however planning (read:what we expect, but not confirmed) to release some extra DGs after release.
Dislike the wasd screen control. Just give us the ability to remap the keys and i'll be happy.
THIS! that said; if it's not part of beta 2 me and/or Sorian (if he beats me to it) will add it in.
Asret, try deleting 'Game.prefs' in;
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Gas Powered Games\Forge\
copy-paste the above address and it'll take you there.
i see what you did thar'
there's been less communication of late, but we were all told that the likely release date of beta 2 was the Thursday after (the US) Thanksgiving... i'm from Aust. but i'm pretty sure that that means any day now.
in a recent beta it was moved back inline with SupCom's Alt+Right. because there's now camera controls in the QWASDE keys, replacements were needed and the SupCom ones work perfectly fine with Ctrl and Shift. so, use Alt+Right Cick.
I'm assuming he means f2p as in free to play after purchase (no monthly fee). Yes it is.
oh, in that case... once you buy it it's yours forever, including online MP. there's a chance of purchasing extra content after release, but it's certainly won't be pay-to-play.
i ticked the 'purchased as a gift' box when i was using my Dad's card (for myself), and i'm in the betas. just order ASAP and enjoy beta 2 once it comes out.
yes, rather nicely in fact. IIRC, a HD3200 is the one integrated on 790GX based motherboards. and no, you must buy this game to play it.
You just need to validate once, but you'll have to do it .
that's what i was afraid of, damn.
no, just uninstall the drivers and DG will start working. IINM, it's not the drivers themselves but some funny effects filters installed for video chat or what-not. if you can uninstall those before the rest of the drivers, you might get away with keeping them on!
please please tell me how you done that Legerdemain? the last time i tried it wanted me to validate (which i could not do as there's no net at the LAN).
/BulletMagnet would also like to know about this. there's a LAN on at my church in a fortnight and i'd really like to show a bunch of mates (read: potential buyers) the game. there's no internet connection there, so that might be an issue.
just wait until beta 2 (it should be out really soon), it'll have Reg. back in for sure.

sorry to burst your bubble, but 36FPS isn't flash hot. but for such an old card, i'd be happy too.
