You've had plenty of time to reply to this one stardock.
Quoting Foreshadowed, reply 1 Im not too worried about demigod's gap in player skill killing it(if thats what you were trying to say), the game has a learning curve just like every other RTS, I do think GPG needs to focus more on Supreme Commander 2 then Demigod though, Just some thoughts, -Foreshadowed Fixed
Fixed, for truth.
It'd be a simple job for anyone to fix, if they didn't asshat the mod support.
Sorry to be unclear, this is specifically for the demigod site. I forgot all your forums are one. If it was CAD sure I could help you out, but not tiny icons sorry. I would if I thought I could help.
The site favicon looks really blurry and undefined.
Demigod != RTS.
Star control 3. I couldn't believe it was so shit, I kept playing, refusing to accept the pile of dog shit they'd turned star control into. Argh, that still makes me sad.
The metal detector does not equal the xray machine, and with normal operation (ie passing through the machine not beside it) it wont harm the drives. Check this out HD-3 if you wanta know what it takes to fully erase a hdd with a magnetic field. Always safer to carry on your laptop though, no one is gonna take as much care of it as you will.
It could have been the metal detector, those have been known to produce strong magnetic fields, usually not passing through it, but near the machine. Still, itd have to be pretty strong. Another option could be the motors in the conveyor belts. Just not the xray machine. Yeah, I wouldn't be repeating the experiment.
If you take it carry-on, you're fine. The x-ray machines that scan carry-on baggage are not as powerful as those that scan checked baggage. If you put it in checked, you've turned it into an expensive paperweight. (I know it murders the hard drive; I'm not sure what else it murders.) (Personal experience, never again.)
I bet they dropped it, Hard... with their foot. Or something.&
For some reason my karma dialog isnt popping up although it insists it is, so chirmaya I owe you 1 karma. Thanks for the efforts!
I'd like an option to allow the showing of which country a player is from in the game lobby, this could be set in preferences. I don't think it should be enforced, just if a person wants to display it, they can.
Great ideas.
I'll be sure to tie it all in at the end in case you're confused. Yah maybe you could do that. I'm confused, because from where I sit the game gets more interesting every week, whether there is a patch or not. To use your metaphor: have you ever actually built a house? Operating off of a good blueprint (which we never got, btw - and no, marketing interviews 3 months ago don't count) only gets you so far
Yeah, maybe if there were a lot more choices than slots available for minions. Many different minions for different purposes would add a lot imo.
Real Time Game. It's barely got any rpg, its barely got any rts. It is in real time though....
Totally agree with you Gnats3 100%. GPG how about atttempting to deliver the game that was promised before preorder, be honest, this game isn't that.
Yeah it's a card game, nothing is hard to implement. I get the point, I just think the example was poor.
Texas Holdem is a pretty fun card game. Add 2 more rounds after "the river" or take away the flop and it's a much less fun game. Seemingly subtle things can have a very large impact on fun.
You call those subtle changes?
I disagree frogboy, whilst you can defend your position that this isn't meant to be fun yet, you've given no indication of the changes that will make it fun. So far it seems the direction demigod is taking is very different to initial expectations. It's not a strategy game, It's entirely action rpg. Had I known this was planned to be the "Counterstrike of strategy" I would've likely not preordered, and actually waited to see if i'd like it on release. Don't be disheart
Good idea for the teleport double click idea. I'd like this sort of behaviour on nearly everything. If I doubleclick snipe, it should target the closest demigod for me, etc.
Sorry, hot air regulus sounds silly.
Dislike the wasd screen control. Just give us the ability to remap the keys and i'll be happy.

I'll try again. You HAVE to choose item A if you want an effect its upgrade provides. This means if you ever want that effect, you'll always have item A. Thats limiting.
