Haven't seen this thread in awhile. Here is an update of my situation: The connectivity has alot higher success rate than before now when 2 PCs behind the same router is connecting to one game. We have our port forwarded. However, the success rate is still nothing to be happy about, but I think proxy will ultimately fix this problem.
In general. Example: Base Attack Speed: 0.5 What does it mean?
It means it attack every 2 seconds. 1 second / (base attack speed) = (attack speed in second)
Give rental favor items for a cheap favor price; players will have to buy it again next time. That way, people who didn't farm/grind favor points can still just jump in and play at a fair level. They will also be allowed to test a particular favor item without donating a kidney.
Map dependant. Some maps, giant are great (cataract); some other map, giant's effect is severely limited (exile).
I think it is very dependant on the team strategy. If your team are well coordinated to arrive at late game before your opponent do (everyone chip in for early ashkandor etc), this "early late game" is going to wreck havoc. However, considering most team are mostly not coordinated, I agree with TheGuildfordStrangler (do you have to have such a long name?).
Everything is ranked as far as I see it.
he is saying his favor is not being "saved".
my favor is now stuck as well... yay... At first I thought it is just now recording my wins at all, but as it record all my loss. Then I thought it is just not recording because there is always someone leaving in mid game, so it count as AI battle aka I lose no matter what. Then I found out those 10~25 favors from losing a game full of people still doesnt add on. God dam, wasted a whole day trying to get favor. This is really fucked up.
I have a 4870, and no such problem. There is probably something else pulling the string. I would like to assume you have latest graphic card driver, but I can't mind read.
There are only a few things of me as rook able to score a kill on regulus. 1. Ally support. 2. Warp stone (4.5k) with boulder roll and "ban hammer" then chase wth shoulder upgrades. 3. strategic timing with creep upgrades. 4. ganking him from behind when he was fighting your tower at a narrow lane. Things I haven't try. 1. Poison dagger favor item. 2. Pray that regulus suck. 3. Rage quit. One thing for sure, on a tactical
Compost add like 14 damage at max level and some health to each shambler. Totally not worth it. Get those spikes (all of them) and thorns so that you can do 650 to AoE instead of 14x4 that last 5 seconds in a fight. If you want to use shambler at all, make sure you can drag a fight till lv15 and use them as grenades. In a burst, QoT can do about 2000 damage, with -armor and -speed + heal to herself. I always buy things depending on situation. If I find myself too frail, I will
I buy ashkandor and drop it for my team's regulus.
QoT's shamble stink so much, more than even unclean beast itself. She got nothing to improve idols neither, unlike sedna. QoT was better in beta when compost effect her and not her shamblers. One should play QoT like a TB that is able to be more aggressive because of bramble shield.
is his talk of netlag true? and the numbers he uses?
True. Also, American aren't the only ignorant ones. I have been kicked from EU and Aussie games numerous times.
(insert number) Oak- If HoL + Shield is consider an exploit, and later fixed without any buff to Oak, I can see him placing here. Everything he does, someone else does better. Shield + HoL is the only redeeming factor to place him close to the top dogs currently. He has the most balanced match up against every DG, however that just mean he is not very good in bigger game as there are no advantage. Oak is the jack of all trade, but that's a weakness for a team game imo. He does give regulus an
Never trust minimum requirement spec for enjoyment on a PC game. Except blizzard stuffs, well, because they like low spec games. Demigod is totally a dual or more core game. If you have single core, then most likely no one online will play with you due to poor sim speed.
I think it heavily depend on match up. There are nothing set in stone once 2 strategies collide. If every UB rely too heavily on spit, UB will soon fall off the metagame as everyone got a counter for it. Then UB will be forced to change anyway.
dont forget armor in your calculation guys
In case anyone didn't know, and didn't check other thread... Bite's Mana Cost increased, Damage decreased, Armor Reduction decreased. Mana Cost increased from 300/420/500/595 to 350/500/650/800. Damage and health gain decreased from 300/500/700/900 to 250/425/600/775. Armor reduction decreased from to 250/400/600/800 250/400/550/700. 1 auto attack
Many many days ago, I would have think this list is not needed. Few days ago, I am hoping such a list will be around.
Not worth the skill point. Silence = imporant, one of the if not THE best interrupt Pounce = important, you need it to score a kill, and add on to DPS/threat heal = the whole reason you are sedna movement speed + health regen = offensive and defensive in 1 skill, awesome cool down decrease + minion buff = make the already very good healing and pounce better? perfect AoE regen aura = very nice to go with ally/creeps, and for self yeti = s
Depend what area you are in with comcast, you would be in hell or not. In areas where comcast don't have competition, they can give rat ass about you as you have no choice anyway. In area where verizon had invaded with FiOz, comcast is still trying to put a good service so they dont bleed customers. Or, rather... they are allocation all their resources and time in area verizon had invaded. Just basing on my observation after my local area's cable company got bought by
It is because the AI between demigod and supcom is VERY different. In supcom (and normal RTS), all AI got to do is build order. If anything lacking, you make more of it; then AI send them forward when they detect enemy base (where building location stay in fog of war) from plenty of scouts. In demigod, these AI need to walk around search for players, AND not see them anywhere on the map. That means the AI need to be able to compute what he is detecting. In a sense, demigod AI
I can play with room full of people near the 400s just perfectly fine back in the days of supreme commander. (basically, they were all aussies, and I am the only one from US) And, I still can do it now on demigod. All the people who kick anything over 100 are generally newbies that just got the game or finally able to play for the 1st time. (expect them to suck too, and feed opposition)
