I understand many Dota player's concerns for creep kill gold etc, but from the perspective of gameplay, if you kill twice as many more creeps as the enemy Demigod, then you should be dominating the map. It isn't always about gold reward, pushing their base is a reward for mass creep killing.
I agree to this, in theorie! But you miss a valuable point: The reward for pushing better comes very late-> winning the game. Beside winning the ga

Sure this needs balancing but... did you ever played dota? Earlygame nuking VS latgame physical damage is a normal change in dota and in any game with fixed dmg nukes and statbaed physical dmg.
Upgrades? YES PLZ Long recipes so knowing them all is a lot of memorizing work? HELL NO And I agree to Arisal :
think there is definitly a good middle ground but would like to see the Dota concepts upgraded like the inventory system.

Here is a thread so
In my opinion Regulus is the worst demigod. So there is a difference in our opinion :D And I would stop playing any generals or even demigod if the generals minions would be so overloaded that it plays like a chen from dota... I mean sure it would be nice if your minions could do something else than doing damage... but pressing tab + skillhotkey for every minion (chen plays like that) is no improvemt over minions which do everything with one attack
I heavily disagree to following points of you:
Maps: - Maps are too open. Need more narrow areas for experienced players to take advantage of. - Would be nice to see some elevation that add small accuracy modifiers to creeps and payers. - Add secret flags that are hidden in the fog away from creep paths. Creeps: - Need fewer creeps at the start of the game. - Creeps should defend their
I can get items and totally dominate the opponent demigods, but this doesn't help the war effort as much as upgrading creeps does. I find that nonsensical.
Quoted for truth! Agree to OP!
I dont like this idea. I like how you have to interact with the creepwaves and not the other way round. Perhaps on some single maps but never as a general possibility.
Bejewled (PC)? Lumines (PSPS, PS2)?
Well archers and shouldertower are 1 point only too! That would make especially the archer tower pointless...
Hi Beta 2 Players! Do you know if the shoulderupgrads of rook have fixed damage or if the damage increases with your lvl or +dmg items? And are his pulled towers considered "real towers" => are the citadel upgrades improving them?
The most interesting question: Do the creep upgrades influence the generals minions?
My search function doesnt yields any answers so: Whichs item stats stack? All? E.g. Lifeleech, dodge, chance to xxx And if it stacks: - Stacks dodge additive or multiplikative? - Can more than one % chance to xxx effect proc at once? - Stacks the chance to swipe additive or multiplikative? And more common: How works armor?
Even if there are more urgent things to do at the moment: A good suggestion. There are two things which should be added as well: - password hidden as ******* - switsching to the second row with "tab"key
Stupid question: I purchased over a month ago and paid with credit card. But i still got no serial key. Do i get the serial key today?
To the opnening poster: YES 4 abillitys to "choose" from are too little. Especially for Assasins. For Generals 4 active skills could be enough. I hope character deepness/variousity will be in the focus after Beta 2 release
Do it like Titan Quest: Square for actives and Circles for passives. Or the other way around if you want
Simple, clear, useful => Agreed aswell :P
Ok thank you for the information. I hope I won't have to wait too long for beta 2 :P Im quite curious about it.
Hoi! I preordered today (26.09.) and want to know if I will still be able to get into Beta 1. The Faq says: " When is the cut-off for Beta 1 access? We will accept preorders into Beta 1 for at least one week after beta starts. So if you haven't preordered yet, you have some time still to order and get into the beta (assuming we don't hit our tester limit first)." I preordered 3 weeks later. Too late? If i
