I have registered it through Impulse, even though I bought it with the same e-mail, and it won't let me log in, says invalid username or password... this is depressing : (

Start it up and come to the forums to slaver with the rest of us...
Mmm, nope, never have, even when I worked at GS and the opportunity was prevalent I wait, the designers decide when it should come out for a reason. (Though with bigger names it's often the publisher, and for shadowy financial reasons) *shrug* I respect the gaming industry.
Micro, for micromanagement, and they are designed to be more micro management. They have their place, if they're done right, they're support classes, and their ability to control units means they can push the front foward in lanes they're not actively in, which can be used effectively in situations, they can also do distractions and the like. I agree with OP, they each deserve specific summonable units and ditching the idols.
This has gone a bit off the rails. The primary reason not to buy from GS is to A. Support SD, and B. Not support breaking Street Dates. Short and simple. Done.
If you preordered from SD directly you get access to the download option as well, so you will be playing no matter what.
I will either be The Oak or the Rook first run...

Second, kudos to all people who preordered the game they should get somethi
I offered it as an option, if you don't want to wait go pickup a boxed edition. I personally feel a bit of loyalty as I've consistently purchased their games and always recieved a quality product and good support, and loyalty in this instance is the very definition of brand loyalty. Buying from them directly raises the amount of money going to the designers and decreases the amount given to the retailers and so forth, who I no longer support as GS is notoriously g

I second the grouping need, even without most people being idiots sometimes you just want to be with your friends!
I have a fortunate schedule for being a bum, I work 24 hours a day for like a week and that covers me for 2 months, next streak starts early next month, so... free time till then, have to split it between DG, EVE, and arguing on the Champions Online forums, haha.
For stardock this makes perfect sense. Impulse = online. Games like Gal Civ, Gal Civ 2, Sins, and Demigod are ALL games centered around multiplayer.First half, true. Second half convinces me you don't know anything about Stardock. GalCiv and GalCiv2 are both singleplayer only!
Oooohooooo, BURN! lol
Yeah, you're good, preorder a copy from SD and join the fold : P
