Wait. This thread is strangely familiar. Did you post this same thing somewhere else? I remember watching a reply of somebody who did not get an assist who had an ally oak. Somebody from GPG even responded to it and said they would look into it.
Edit: You know what. Nevermind. Experience tells me that you're impossible.

Late-game is weird because there is a huge power shift. Towers suddenly become next to useless. Your nukes don't nuke any more. Everybody is suddenly zipping around at ungoldy speeds. It takes some getting used to. Personally, I try my best to finsh things around level 15.

Quality of Service. It determines which packets are more important than their peers. i.e., Movie file packets usually have a very low QoS priority. You can drop a bunch of them and still watch streaming video just fine. More important packets... like VoIP-related traffic... has a higher rating. Losing packets would make the connection cut in and out. If you haven't messed with the settings to make them do something already, they are probably defaulted. If that's the case, it s
+1 to OP for not biting on the flame bait on page one. As the song says... Haters gonna hate.
Nice necro! OT: The only problem I have had with karma is with really long posts (aka dev journals and what not). The thumb is on the bottom of the post, but the box pops up at the top of the post. If you don't scroll back up, you can't see it... resulting in furious click click clicking of the thumbs-up button with no effect. *facepalm* Edit: Please don't neg-karma me, Mr. Slinger. I'll play nice from now on. Prowmise.
There might be a problem with the patch. It's also possible that people are just expecting more out of the game post-patch and noticing / commenting on more things that have been occuring all along.
One of the problems with stuff like that is the fact that people give kudos for all sorts of reasons... Chaosnaska (sp?) had a pretty high (in the 20s) karma rating as a result of people supporting his trolling.
If you manage to get a refund, you should seriously consider purchasing a dictionary with the resulting income.
Maybe it's another wonderfully under-documented 'feature' of the nightmare AI.
I wish that custom games would warn you automatically when you join a game that is running on molested settings. I can understand jerking around with your friends with weird settings... buy why do people unknowingly submit other people to that garbage?
From time to time the death video and sound filters will persist for me after death, leaving me to run around and play the game in sepia tones with the annoying wooshing sound. Only cleared by ending the game. Similar issue? Edit: Now that I think about it, the sound will sometimes persist all the way back through the menus... only being cleared up by closing the program.
seeing how they wont give a refund
Since when? =/ Stardock is usually very reasonable when it comes to offering refunds from what I understand. Or have you already asked? Hmph.
15-30 minutes? Like literally? Wow. I applaud your endurance. I would never sit in the queue that long.
I had a case where I made a reply and it didn't show up after I hit the post reply button but a minute later it was there.
I've noticed that too. We're probably going to see a string of doube-triple posts after a while here. But I am also seeing posts that have already been made slipping off of threads.
