My point is...LoL is free, payed by microtransactions. Demigod is released in $40 ($60 w/ shipping) and will be $30 or even $20 in a few months depending on the success, and even then it's not sure that the want-a-quick-RTS-game fanbase moves to Demigod instead of another free game. That's what I'm worried about >. I'm not cancelling my preorder because...well I just dunno, but right now I'm a little bit dissapointed with the game. I don't have that "special" exc

I have no problems with english, but some friends of mine which I bought the game along too does. It'll be nice to have some messages in every language that are locally dependant: If I hit a button labeled "Hi" in english, spanish people would real "Hola", the french "Salout", japanese "Konnichi Wa" and so... 4) Most likely there will be channels / lobbies to chat in outside of games, though we haven't been shown anything like that yet in Beta. Yes we did, shift+tab brings up an ingame IRC windows where you join the #Demigod channel to ask for a game, pretty much as an ALT+Tab if you play Garena.

DOTA has around 90 Heros or so with each at least 4 Abilitys making about 360 different skills. Dota had alot of Time to develop so i dont compare the Amount of Heros. But the total number of abilitys is a indicator for the amount of skill-synergies and therefore Taktiks. My expectation is at least a quarter of Dotas Skill array. So 90 or more different skills in total should be distributet on all the heros in Total. DOTA has NOW 9

Can you make available to cast a spell on yourself if spell is clicked on your portrait? Could be useful for healing/shielding when there's a lot of people near.

For those talking about Dota player base...just go Garena. 140k~300k players online ALWAYS, at least half of them playing. And that's just the pirate's way, not Battle.net Main drawback of demigod against DOTA: dota has evolved for more than 5 years, there are a lot of balance, heroes and stuff going. Demigod just started and there's lack of variety on builds and some balance tweaking.

OK so after a bit of discussion I'm thinking the best solution, rather than totally altering game balance with teleport debuffs, would simply be to have a telltale when someone is teleporting to a location that starts when they begin the cast (or if that is too much 3 seconds from arrival). That way the offensive player sees the port coming and can escape the gank or set up ambush if necessary, but doesn't have huge advantage </p

Why cooldown the abilities? 1.5 second stun on arrival plus/used on arrival animation (instead of just popping up) and it's solved. Enough to start running or prepare for battle.

Right now all skills are gotten in a lineal way you only need certain level to get them. What if you make that into an skill tree like Diablo or WoW ones, where you can only pick an skill when you have a certain combination of others: ie, to geet rook's boulder you should get divine strengh 1 plus lvl 2 hammer. Once the game has a wider skill variety for every hero, taht would be a good way to impede metagame-breaker builds.
