News flash, CD Keys are DRM and the oldest form of DRM used in PC games. ANYTHING that restricts access to content so only authorized users can access it is DRM and that is EXACTLY what software CD keys do. Demigod uses these software keys therefor it has DRM.
Whoa whoa whoa. You skipped like 5+ generations of DRM when you claimed CD Keys are the oldest form of DRM. You forgot the elustrius Disk Check (reading data o

According to the latest Game Developer Salary Survey, this is not the case. Since these individuals are not entirely game developers it's possible they fall under system architects and software engineers, or quality assurance, that doesn't get the salary anywhere clos

You will gain exp from just being near the creep kills, but typically if you're capping a flag that's in the path of creep spawn, Sedna will kill them all herself without having to click on them. I personally start by picking up heal, during the initial creeping phases you want to be able to stay alive to push back any enemy demigods going for caps. At that rank with demigods having a couple abilities at most, your heal should give you a victory (kill or push them back/port) via attri
I for myself always wished that Demigod would use GPGnet too, and I really hope SupCom 2 will be over GPGnet. But well... I was disappointed about Demigod. I really would have appreciated it to be handled via GPGnet.
This :( In my opinion Stardock sold GPG on something that they simply are not prepared to handle. Their system isn't scaling and it's not able to manage or properly distribute the traffic it's receiving. Considering the system is doing nothing more

There are many things eluded to within the game files that are not currently available. Replays, Mods (UI and Game) have what appear to be pieces that were disabled but will probably be enabled in the future.

The server for the games list appears to be offline or something. After completing a custom match I was greeted with the typical game list, which I then saw shrink, from scrollable, to 15 games, to 10, to 5, to 0. I have seen no games in this list for some time, and none of my friends can see these games. The biggest issue with "connectivity" appears to be a lack of response time from the servers combined with horrible UI Code that does not act in an asynchronous manner. The u
And you can't turn off the auto adding of bots even in custom games
This isn't true. When hosting a Custom Game you can completely control every slot of the game and whether it's open, closed, or what level of AI is in it. MP Customs with friends is all I have played, what game mode is auto-adding bots?

In an effort to reduce the amount of traffic hitting the servers I feel a sub menu should be created for the Custom Game menu. This menu should include the buttons from the bottom of the server list, such as Create Game, Game List, etc. However, do not load the game list by default. In the event where you want to host a game you end up making this query to the server, often times resulting in the UI stalling for a short time while it makes the request, before your Host game cl

Stop using network configurations you don't understand. Peer to peer is fine. If you understand why it doesn't work then you should know why it's not working.

The installation is not specific for Vista x64. If you have access to a different computer on a different internet connection you can download a full installation for the game using Impulse Anywhere. http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com/ Login and it should allow you to download the game, which you can then put on a flash drive, or burn to a DVD and install on your computer. Then you just need to use Impulse to patch.

I've played many custom games with friends and we're not having any problems with net so far. The issue I feel is that many people have overcomplicated network configurations that they are not aware of how to manage or configure. If most people were running straight off their ISPs modem they would probably not be having many problems, other than software firewalls. Once people start introducing routers, firewalls, wireless bridges, etc it just makes it a much more complex networking t

Unfortunately Impulse Anywhere is only available for the Full installations of game titles. It does not provide an ability to download incremental patches or updates. So unless they roll the patches into the core installation you're still going to need to use the Impulse Client to update. Sorry :(
