I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but I'd like to see critical hits addressed, esp. how they stack. Late game it's possible to have multiple crits go off at once and kill an enemy DG in a single auto-attack. There's a couple ways to solve this, such as just adding the crit percentages (5% + 10% = 15% total). I'd also probably like to see Ashkandor brought down to x2 damage with a higher chance, as x4 crits are a bit excessive. Critical items should give you more damage, some of which is

Post mortem is applied by melee attacks only, to be clear here, which may be why people are getting kills without explosions when using plague. As to the usefulness of plague, it can end up infecting pretty much the whole map, but the damage is low. It just depends if you need low damage over time or not. I generally do not take Plague personally.

Apparently OhLordE, you haven't discovered that all you need to do is hit the Mist button and you prevent 1.3K damage from Spit. Erebus is the only truly overpowered DG, and he's actually worse 2v2 as opposed to 1v1 (some people seem to be trying to play the bullshit "the game isn't balanced around 1v1 card"). Play on Prison (worst map ever) against a good Erebus and not only will you lose, but you won't have fun either. You'll be winning a 1v1, and all of a sudden from

Let's see, to date I've heard the following characters called overpowered: Rook Torchbearer Unclean Beast Regulus Erebus Sedna Oak Queen Anyone notice anything about this list? And in seriousness, I find TB to be one of the easiest demigods to beat 1v1. He's good against creeps, but he's extremely fragile and finds it hard to run from faster DGs like Sedna and Unclean B
I like your list but I'm not sure about 16 Demigods. I would rather see say 12 Demigods and have their abilities and options expanded on so that they play much more differently than today. I worry about having too many Demigods because it dilutes the impact of each one (in GalCiv we kept adding races and people stopped really having a "favorite").
I have to respectfully, but strongly disagre
In the "professional" gaming world, when a player knows he will lose he is expected to quit so as to avoid wasting any more time on a game that has already been decided. Some games encourage this heavily. Reply to ScaleMail OP in Demigod

I prefer Banded Armor over Scale Mail every time, but Scale Mail can be a good supplement when you want a little extra defense, and are either saving or just spent your gold. It's also useful against Erebus and Queen to prevent negative armor conditions.

So, where are the changelogs for these patches? I believe you said you could right click and grab them, but I see no such information in Impulse.

As much as I'm intrigued by the idea, this would break the game balance very quickly. Ideally every item is priced in such a way that its marginal utility / marginal cost is equal to all other items (taken as a whole. Obviously certain builds will value certain stats more), and this would prevent that from being the case.

I agree about the terrain thing, but "ultimates" as a general design principal aren't strictly necessary, and people who cannot gank in Demigod are just bad at the game. My favorite gank so far would have to be when I mined an enemy's retreat path while he was fighting (and losing) against an ally. I didn't even fire my weapon at him, I just smiled as he walked by and died. That's just one of many ganks I've done. But, this thread is not so great,
The winning side should get the first new Demigod on their side.
I'd rather see a simultaneous release, especially as new demigods will temporarily be heavily overplayed, so having two instead of one will help cut down on duplicates.

I think this is not a good idea. Almost all of the characters in the game have both skills AND items to either increase their own speed, slow their enemies, or both. This would make it nearly impossible to run away, and would severely handicap newer players and teams with newer players, who already often have trouble with running early enough to live.

Mines are very good for holding flags, although as fixmyfavor notes, there are counters (it would be stupid if there was none). The key to Regulus being good isn't his flag holding abilities, but his ridiculously good anti-DG and anti-creep abilities. The fact he can harrass someone out of a lane from half the map away is very useful (and very annoying).

Once Sedna gets Heal III, she can just instantly cleanse the venom spit off, while also healing 1200 of other damage, on the same cooldown as Spit, but for less mana. I honestly don't know how he ever managed to kill your demigod, though UB is much better at killing reinforcements than Sedna is.

Just to sum up quickly, anyone who thinks Spit is overpowered has never played against a good General who actually modified their playstyle ever so slightly to stop it. Oak's Shield removes it, Sedna's Heal removes it, Erebus's Mist removes it, and Queen's Shield reduces it to around zero damage. And there is a favor item which removes Venom Spit as well. If anything, I think Venom Spit should be looked at in terms of reduci

Erebus being too good in randoms is still an issue that would need to be addressed, as a good portion of all DG matches are with randoms. And Erebus is clearly too good in the hands of a good player against average players. I've killed people in their own base(mid-game, not late game), escaped from 2v1s almost every time, etc. Between Bite, Mist, and Bat form, his survivability and mobility is incredible.

Frogboy, Are you looking for critiques of what you have, or entirely different ideas? A few points: 1. An experience bonus would probably be pretty broken if used well. 2. Immunity isn't bad, but it certainly is pretty similar to Oak's Shield. What about a placeable area protection effect? That would be unique and very cool. 3. Magic Missile could be cool if animated properly. I might suggest a drunk missile style animation

This post fails because the OP doesn't understand how Demigod works, and thus does not have a valid opinion on its depth or gameplay mechanics. Ask the people I play with if they think there is no ganking in this game. Other Person: "Hey, wow, I'm winning this 1v1." Me: (teleports then Venom Spits and Foul Grasps them) Other Person: [e digicons]:'([/e]

I would say making harder bots would help. Nightmare bots might not be competitive for clan matches, but they would be fine for pub play as a replacement.
