Can you patch before registering a cdkey on a Stardock Impulse account? The reason I ask is in the near future I'm looking at a six person LAN with 3 copies of this, and am trying to figure out how to get everyone to have the same version. And to clarify, since you said a 2:1 ratio is fine, you guys wouldn't have a problem with this, right? And to clarify again, this would be a non-commercial LAN between friends at a private residence with no prof

Just to clarify, due to the fact the release has not officially happened, there will be occassional pretty weird issues with the matchmaking at this point in time. I believe the uneven teams are a function of the game thinking you are that awesome though[e digicons][/e] , but I can't be 100% sure.
Thanks for choosing to trust PC gamers like this, frogboy. It really means a lot to me that I don't need to worry about any DRM issues. I've bought it, and I've gotten at least 3 of my friends to buy it as well, hoping for 4-5 by the time I'm done. You guys have really outdone yourselves.
Yeah, I second this post. If you are ridiculously impatient like me, buy two copies and give / sell the other one. [e digicons][/e]
Thanks for the comments. So, based on what I'm seeing from my short playsession yesterday, I would change his skills thusly to conform to the four active rule: Riposte (M): Avoids the next non-special melee attack, and hits with a counter. This lasts X ms, so you need to time it right. Hundred Blade Blitz (M) Wall of Pikes (M) H
Neil, Have an answer to this? I'd accept "It would work but we're so pissed at GameStop we'd wish you didn't." Just trying to figure stuff out. Other people, I can understand frustration, but please realize it is out of Stardock's hands right now. This is not a normal weekend, so we really ought not expect they do any major work till Monday.
Day 0 patch notes: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345442 I guess the easiest way to figure out if it has been released would be to try to race Erebus and Unclean Beast, unless you memorized the damage values during beta.
To Stardock, So, I have the DemiGod game preordered for digital + CE right now, and as everyone knows, the game was released early. Under no circumstances will I cancel the preorder, because I want to support you guys. However, what I want to know is how easy it would be, if I bought an instore copy, to gift my electronic copy key to someone else (or vice versa, I wouldn't mind reinstalling again to get the Impulse key if needed). I got to play it
Anyone know what time on monday we can start dling, i thought i saw at 0001 we could is that correct?
To clarify, you probably saw my question where I asked if that was the time we could start, and the answer I got is that the time you can start getting it is as early as they run the charges during their business hours. So, I'd expect late morning, give or take.
Very cool origin story. I've extremely excited to play this character after that.
This is in reply to frogboy's comment they wanted a normal sized melee character, so here's a suggestion along those lines: Regent of Blades
This is a very, very good idea if you get to a time in which new content is being limited by programmer / design time, rather than art / sound asset time, as you could easily double the number of skins without worrying about balance or code concerns (aside from the initial code to swap it, which would be a one time investment).
Sorry, we don't generally do midnight releases. Normally we'll begin charging the queued preorders during regular office hours, and users will get access as they're issued serials.
Bah humbug. Thank you for the very quick reply, however.
We're hoping to have the final up sometime Monday for beta testers.
Nifty. Grats to the beta testers. Is the final coming out at 0001 on 14 APR 2009 for normal preorder customers by chance? I'm generally up around that time, and it would be swell if I had something cool to do.
The shipping address is where the box itself is going to be mailed. This should be your house. The billing address is the address on file for that specific credit card, and will be your friend's information if it is his card.
I'd certainly be happy for anything that can be done in this regard, esp. as I have been a preorder for quite a while, but not long enough to be in the beta.
Nice video. It would be nice though if you could actually use minions as a "screen", but other players will just go straight for DG and ignore them.
If they wanted to make that change, they certainly could though. The two ways to get people not to ignore minions are: 1. If the minions are too dangerous to ignore due to high damage or negative effects (stuns, slows) 2. If it is faster to kill the minions then kill the DG in that
Example 1: Playing against someone known to be extremely good. Player hits skirmish and the player cares a lot about their ranking. Players gets into the game and they see that the other team has some player who they know is really good. They immediately quit. What should we do?
If you can resolve the other problems below so there is never a legitimate reason to quit, I'd count it as a loss. Otherwise, it becomes much tough
