I emailed them on Easter weekend and got a response by 3 pm on Tuesday (their first day back) for a similar issue (which was totally my fault, to be clear). Check your spam filter.

Frogboy, 1. Nice update. Thanks for keeping us informed as always. 2. You might ask GameSpot to take another look in a week and issue an update. Something worth looking into, if you haven't considered it already. 3. Way too greedy as Oak in that video. [e digicons]:P[/e]
To offer a comparison, I play Ice TB. I take Rain of Ice first, then take fill in Ice slots when available, and Fireball when not. Ice TB is actually very good lategame when doing citadel pushes, because his Frost Nova has a gigantic stun range, and what used to be 2 towers, 1 DG, and 30 enemies is now a completely still collection of ice sculptures. It's not so much dangerous as incredibly disruptive. I actually managed to win a 2v2 game without getting one kill
Dash and others, See here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/346327 It seems to be related to the Pantheon game mode as far as I can tell. The temporary workaround would be to play Skirmish instead of Pantheon. The long term solution would be for Stardock to fix it. Due to the fact it seems like their web stats keeps track of favor, they might be able to restore all lost favor, but we'll see. Edit: Actually, this is bugged ev
Yeah, I can confirm this bug exists. How to replicate it: 1. Join a custom game lobby. 2. Leave or get kicked from that lobby. 3. If the game launches and/or finishes, it is put on your custom game record as a loss. I had this happen once when I was kicked for not wanting to play a 2v2 with an Easy AI as my partner (who does that?) vs two humans.
You can't fix it client side like you used to be able to do, either, it seems. [e digicons]:S[/e]
I have my thread here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/346265 To quote it: "I didn't post this till today incase it was related to the pre-release nature of the game at all, but there exists a bug where you will lose favor points during a game. I don't know how to replicate it, but I just played a winning Pantheon game and lost ~300 Favor points when I should have gained 120 or so. Edit: I've earned Init
I didn't post this till today incase it was related to the pre-release nature of the game at all, but there exists a bug where you will lose favor points during a game. I don't know how to replicate it, but I just played a winning Pantheon game and lost ~300 Favor points when I should have gained 120 or so. Edit: I've earned Initiate and Corpus Explodus for UB three times each tonight if that helps.
Thanks for the tip DalzK. When I told it to refresh, it found the update for me.
I cannot play online at this time. Today's the release day, and Stardock said they needed to do a small patch and a server migration today, which will make the multiplayer much faster compared to yesterday.
Same thing is happening to me right now. I know a patch is due today, but it doesn't seem to want to download.
This should work: Go to your My Documents \ My Games \ Gas Powered Games \ Demigod directory and open the 'game.prefs' file in notepad. Scroll about 1/3 the way down till you find the options section and look for primary_adapter = '1440,900,60', or whatever it says. Change that so the first number is the correct width, the second number is the correct height, and the third
Sedna (D)? What is her position?
It should have been a 'G' for 'General.' She is a general type character whose unique minions are Yetis. She has many healing and support skills, as well as quite a few movement self-buffs.
1.00.0091 is not outdated. It is the correct version.
Light Generals: Oak Sidna Light Assassins: Rook Regulus Dark Generals: Queen of Thorns Erebus Dark Assassins: Unclean Beast Torchbearer To summarize the assassins: Unclean Beast: Fast melee attacker with lots of damage over time and area effect attacks. Torchbearer: Mage character with fire and ice attacks. He has more skil
Yeah, as others said it is possible. You can also select the difficulty of each AI individually, so if you and your wife are of differing skill levels, you can each pick a rival CPU to fight of the appropriate difficulty.
I did some testing today to see how buffs stuck and their limits. It appears that buffs are additive rather than multiplicative, so the formula for speed, for example, would be: Speed = Natural Speed + [Natural Speed * Buff One] + [Natural Speed * Buff Two] + ... To give out some Unclean Beast numbers for reference: Start Speed: 6.3 Speed w/ Skills: 6.9 Speed / Skills & All Passive Items: 11.7 Speed Cap: 14.0</p
It depends a bit on your playstyle. I think I'll tenatively recommend Oak, since he is pretty tough, can heal, and has an ability that if he dies, you go into a super revenge mode temporarily. He doesn't have any gaping weaknesses.
Mothra, glad it is working. You will experience lag every time the game tries to contact the server right now, which should be fixed by tomorrow I believe.
Kryo, a quick question: If a friend orders through Stardock today, will he immediately get a key? I have a friend who will be coming home at about 1730 EST or so tonight, and he's the only one in our gaming group who won't have a copy yet.
Yeah, this didn't happen yesterday. I strongly think it is due to a server side issue, as nothing else has changed since. Edit: And premempted by Kryo. You guys are fast. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I actually agree with him as it being a longer term goal. I'm a numbers guy, so the more numbers, the better. Edit: On the tooltip, to be clear. I don't think it needs to be displayed as a floating damage value in combat itself.
Hey, even torrents are swarming with full version of cracked game. Only people who proredered still have nothing but balls on the cold. WHat a disgrace.
That's a mighty lot of whining for a company that released the game earlier than intended.
In Pantheon mode, you choose to side with either Light or Darkness, and that choice is permanent for that run of the tournament. You can play any demigod you want in skirmish or custom games, but in Pantheon you're limited to the good ones or the evil ones. If you don't like your current choice, fear not, as it will be reset this coming week.
