I don't think custom games should count. If people want to play ranked games, then they should play the Skirmish or Pantheon modes.

I'd prefer modding personally. Clan or team support does not interest me in the slightest.

I am not so sure multiplayer works flawlessly for most people.

I can never play. Simple as that. I log in, and try to play Pantheon games, but after 20 minutes of nothing happening, I give up and go play something else. Usually what happens is "The matchmaking service has failed" or I cannot connect to someone, or someone else cannot connect to another person, etc. So you hit cancel and try again, and again, and again and oops the game crashed and I have to alt-ctrl-delete and end it, and then reload it and try again. <

Pantheon also seems to be having issues. Last few days I was able to get into the odd game. After last nights patch, I can not get a Pantheon game going. Either the "Matchmaking service has failed" or no one can connect to each other.

Just wondering when we can expect Pantheon matches to be something other than 2v2?

I have noticed a lot faster connection times. As econtrerasd as said, sometimes I get the connection information box pop up, but a connection is never bridged with anyone, i.e. the box is empty, and this continues (I believe) until I restart Demigod. Once I have restarted Demigod, I can then resume connecting to people, and information appears in the box.

Eh. I think it's hit or miss for some people. Earlier tonight I couldn't get a game to save my life. I gave it a few hours then got a few Pantheon games in no problem. Now I can't seem to get a game again.

Yeah. Ever since I downloaded that last beta patch, I have had a tough time connecting to people. Prior to that patch I was able to get into Pantheon and Skirmish games fairly easily, but now it takes many more tries before I can get a game to actually start.

Yeah same. I don't have access to my routers settings. The settings are blocked by an administrator user name and password which the ISP has acess to for technical support reasons I would imagine.

The game is still very young, only been out for a couple of weeks. Also, most of this time it has been hard to get a game larger than 2v2 up and running, deterring a lot of people from playing until these issues are squashed. I suspect as the remaining connectivity issues get ironed out, more and more people will be returning to Demigod and the skill level will increase.

The ai has no place in competitive online play, such as the Pantheon.

As someone else said, many, many people are waiting for all this connectivity stuff to be fixed. My brother for example, works ten hour shifts then gets home and only has a few hours to himself before he has to go to bed. He tried putting up with Demigod for a few days then gave up as he could only get 1 game in at night time as it takes forever to get a game going. He said he will give Demigod a few weeks until (if) he returns.

The death penalty upgrade at the citadel is the most unattractive upgrade there is. It would be nice if the death penalty upgrade either got buffed or completely removed and replaced with something different. For example, by buffed I mean something like if the upgrade also reduced the amount of gold gained by enemy demigods when they kill you. Getting +spell power items seems a given, considering all the +dmg on attack items that currently exist. These +dmg on attack items are more benefical to certain Demigods such as Unclean Beast and Rook. It would make sense to have some sort of items, for example "Wands" which grant +spell power, which would be more useful for Demigods such as Torchbearer.

The sound during the menu selection phase, before actually playing a game, is all stuttered and repetitive. A character will say the same thing 8 times, as if they have a sever stuttering problem. Once in the game, the sound is fine. I have the newest drivers availble for my Realtek AC'97 audio sound. The multiplayer doesn't seem to work. Everytime I try to find a game it says "Parameters not found." or something to that extent, and then the game freezes or loc

I would not worry too much, I am sure you will be getting your e-mail or whatnot soon enough. I pre-ordered a month ago and have not received anything yet, but am hopeful I will within the next hour or so.
