I tried this because I thought it would be neat but I could never get it to work. Doesn't really matter much though because they can just push the other side or use the two crystals in the middle.
Chaoticon
I started using it again a few months ago. Same as forum name.
Crits stack by multiplaying the last damage from what I've seen. So if a 2x procs along with the 4x the last one to proc would multiply the total ongoing damage. They have low proc rates, but when reg is attacking .5 then it becomes pretty OP, even without crit. I'm sure the formulas will be nerfed for crit/as/ms as right now stacking any of those is really OP.
crits have a chance to proc at the same time, although he probably saved for ashkandor if he was raping your team mates that often.
Pantheon needs to be bumped up to 3v3 next patch and there needs to be more randomness in the match ups. I'm tired of seeing two sednas or two oaks. In fortress mode it is impossible to win vs two oaks abusing last stand and nearly impossible against two sednas healing each other with hit and run.
Hehe awesome changes, I was browsing the pantheon page and thought something changed ~_^
Interesting, but would be extremely OP in fortress games.
I like the new speedtest site layout.
I think we need another favor item slot to see some more variety. Make requirements like only one can be activatable and one passive, or one from the common pool and one from the assin/general pool. Instead of making a fifth hotkey slot it could also take up the f3 slot so people couldnt carry pots scrolls and trinkets.
This is pretty much the cookie cutter erebus spec right now. Your item/idol selections are pretty bad for this playstyle though. With this build if you get 2-3 item first you will be able to harrass and hold flags a lot longer. Get idols later after you have filled in all your "optional" abilities. I start with hp armor and mana helm, then nimroth for mitigation, then replace starter helm with planor helm. Followed by boots of speed and vlemish helm more often though I go with heart of life i
Once there is a larger pool of players this wont happen at all.
Level three either needs a range increase or a special secondary effect to make it worth the mana cost.
This is probably one of my favorite ideas so far.
Why dont you wait until after they update tonight and see what it shows...?
Would it be possible to add another database entry for item storage? You can see the win/loss map on the pantheon page, but it would also be nice to see what items each person had when the game ended. I guess this might lead to cookie cutter builds but I also like to see unique strategys from higher end players.
I'm having the problem to, and when a game finally does start I get horrible team mates that feed 5 times in the first 2 min...gg ranking
If you are against a good UB i wouldnt use this build for 1v1. Boulder roll + hammer demolishes UB. I usually take anhklet as favor and boots of speed as my third peice when im facing UB. If he stacks attack speed instead of HP, which most do, stack armor.
Yeah if you have ever played an RPG or mmo you would know to hit something like C. Hit C to get a glance and hit it again to close it. It takes less then 1 second to see the stat you want to check on. There is no logical reason you would need it open the whole game.
Pretty bad ideas, and would lead to imbalances or cookie cutter builds.
The problem will be solved with mondays patch and the marketing push in three or so weeks.
Dark was raping the first one to...light brought it back on the last day somehow. Not this time though.
buying all those items for speed means that if someone ever stunned you or caught up to you you would die instantly.
He should really stop updating DoTA its slow paced and on an outdated engine. The amount of years hes put into a map inside of another game, even though the trigger system isn't bad, he could have been designing a stand alone game with much better features.
This bug has caused many people to escape with hardly any hp...
Anyone who doesnt have at least one point into mist is pretty newbish, I don't usually go higher then that. I've used it to absorb lots of sniper and hammer slams. I've also used it while chasing an enemy into 4+ towers with batswarm and after killing him I wait in mist and bat out when its back up. Such a useful tool.
