With Sedna is the worse, i think...Once i failed 3 times in a row to activate the healing spell. It was clear as day it wasn't responding to the command.

You do know that the first two demigods are already set, right? [e digicons]:|[/e] They were left out from the game, some concepts of them are on the net, and one of the them is even in the game's files, but not playable. He's a minotaur, named Oculus, a general type dg. All the skills are already set. So this thread is not for the next two demigods, but maybe for future demigods.
I think the AI is kinda stupid, it likes to die often and make suicide runs in the enemy's base. And i've got a feeling that the only difference between the AI difficulties is the amount of HP and gold they got. It's not a bad AI, it could be worse, but it's not great either...
No thanks but I'd like http://forums.demigodthegame.com/323546
Why not both? [e digicons][/e] Apply the DOTA combining only to a few items, only from the artefact shop, very powerfull and very expensive. For the rest of the items from the regular shop, apply the new upgrade formula from that thread.
Hmmm, very nice idea. Would definitely solve the repetitiveness of some items and make space for some new unique items, like one that gives you invisibility, for a short time, or something else besides the generic dmg/mana/hp/speed/arm type items, that plagues the game right now. I hate to make this comparison, but DOTA had far more interesting items than Demigod.
One more, taken from another thread: 9. The text that displays who died and who killed who, should be made red (if a team mate has died) or green (if an enemy dg died). As it is now, white is kinda neutral, many times i failed to notice it and wondered where my team mate was. Feel free to add, if they are small things that can be fixed in a short time.

When he strikes he reverts to his natural form. Level 2 The shape shifter takes on the form of an enemy basic troop helping him to sneak
you got to the Impulse driven forums while trying to post to the demigod forums?
Demigod was my first Stardock game and because of this i've installed the Impulse client. There you can browse the Impulsedriven forums. I made an user account and started posting in the demigod section. Later, i switched to Firefox browser, but still posting in the impulsedriven forums, demigod section. Only recently i found out that the Impul
I agree with the above and i have some of my own: 3. Clicking on the mini map jumps your camera to that position (i've read this request many times, so it seems fair to post it here) 4. On the mini-map, the demigods in your team have the same color (green) as your troops, and it's hard to see where are your team members are, if they stand in the middle of a friendly creep mob. Same for the enemy demigods, it's hard to see them on the minimap, when they are standing in the midd
Yeah i do have times where my ping does that, but it doesnt last long. Why cant you play?
Because in 4 out of 5 games i have this problem. The most failed ones are the the 5v5 matches. I can't play because i have these very high spikes, 700-1400, lasting a few seconds, then normal again, then again with the spikes, and so on...In this time, the game freezes (for everyone) and usually the players quit the game in anger, no
A hero that self-replicates would be cool. It'd make for an interesting general.
Well, a mirror ability would be cool. You could make mirrors of yourself (clones, if you wish), so the enemy can not tell which is the real you. Of course this one was in DOTA also, but is hard to avoid inspiring from that game. At 80+ heroes, the best abilities are already invented, lol.
Dare to ask, why this thread isn't posted in the Ideas subsection? It's a shame to sit in the General area, where all the irrelevant stuff gets posted... [e digicons]O:)[/e] About Frogboy's ideas: Ability 1 : it's ok for a support character, but i think there must be a way to use any one of the 4 states, any time you wish. Each one of them can be useful at a given time, depending on the situation. For example, the last state, at lvl 10, t
And what is it about this game that makes my 150 -180 ping so umbearable? Ive got wireless interent so my ping is going to be a little higher than everyone elses. Am i really the person causing a 2v2 to lag to hell with a 180 ping?
Heh, wait and see how it is when you have spikes of 500-1000 ping and you destroy everyone's game. [e digicons]:)[/e] Be glad that you can play the game, i can't. I'm waiting for the proxy server
I agree 100%. Subscribed topics would act like a list of favorites. For example, now i have a bookmark made to My Replies page, too see some of the topics i've replied and i'm still interested in. But a lot of them i don't wanna see them again after i've posted, such as this thread. It's really strange that this forum doesn't have such a feature. I'm active on a lot of forums on the internet, and this is the only one that i've encountered this problem.
Me too. I've notice it especially when i try to use an ability. I think your demigod gets deselected or something. It's very frustrating.
Well, the DOTA map is pretty much flat, so the concept could be adapted to Demigod. What i miss from DOTA is that you could hide in the forest and ambush players. Also, there were those neutral zones, with NPC monsters that you could kill for exp and gold. All this can work in Demigod, if they want to.
I like the way it is now...For a new player, by the time he learns the game, he will have unlocked all his persistend items. It's a nice feeling (for some of us) that you have when you unlock an item.
4) some maps (like cataract/prison) the onscreen colors are sometimes bright, making the white text almost invisible...can you change the text color in game?
Oh, i see. I agree with this. It's easily fixable, they just have to make a semi transparent background (like light grey) for the chat window/area. Also, the text that displays who died and who killed who, should be made red (if a team
1) Press "T". The camera centers on your demigod and follows your moves. 2) I agree. But for me i like to zoom out/in, seems quick and looks very cool... 3) I don't understand what you are referring to. But i have a similar problem: The demigods in your team have the same color (green) as your troops, and it's hard to see where are your team members are, if they stand in the middle of a friendly mob (lol). Either make the creeps other color on the map (like white), or the team
Neah...When the enemy team has only the crystal left, then i think it's good that's indestructible, it's their last hope, lol. Seriously, you should have tried destroying their citadel and take control over their last portal. If they choose to sit near the crystal, they will lose by citadel destruction. If they come to defeat the citadel, they're out of the range of the crystial, so you and your team should kill them and then, when they are dead, destroy their citadel.
The speed is OK, imo. Rook's hammer attack is fine the way it is now, because it has a large AOE and it's mainly for creep killing. You can kill players with it, they don't necessarily need to be noobs, they could be frozen or stuned by a team player, for example. Tha maps are symmetric for a reason. The same thing was in DOTA. But i agree they could put, on some maps, trees or something so they don't look so plane. Maybe a map with 2 or 3 levels, with some sort of bridges...Anyway, i
Ohh :O. I see now. Thanks for clarifyng that to me. I understand that a patch was issued to correct this, right? Too bad the harm was done allready... About the demo, they could have build one, with just 1 map and 2 or 3 demigods, for skirmish mode only. It's still better than none.
Why the cd key isn't use for connecting to an online MP? It's allready there for registering the game and getting updates, so why not for online play? What happend was a really hard blow for the game, imo...Now people think the game is buggy and won't buy it (at least for now); Gamespot review trashed the game because of this; and all the rest of the publishers now will rethink their strategy for the need of a strong DRM. Really bad stuff. :( Oh, and not releasing a demo for it was a
