I'm hoping 10 or 12 DGs total, it's really more about quality than quantity afaic. And 3 maps per player count, so 3 x 2vs2 maps, 3 x 3vs3 maps, 3 x 4vs4 maps, 3 x 5vs5 maps.
The old "quality over quantity"...How i come to hate this expression, especially when it refers to games...Really, this is just a poor excuse for laziness (or cheapness), in most cases anyway. How do you know that by bringing more demigods, the qu
Sadly, it took this long to get to where the game SHOULD have been on release date in terms of connectivity. Now that the connectivity part is about as good as it is going to get (we're still going to refine it but there's no major changes likely in that area) we'll work with GPG to figure out why people get disconnected in-game occasionally.
So do 5v5 matches in Panth work now? With no AI? I'm asking because i can'
I would pay for bonus content like maps, new demigods, new item packs and stuff like that. As would I (beyond the first two, anyway). I really wish more games would get on board with 'meaningful' micro-expansion content. I had high hopes for DoWII, for example but they don't seem to be willing to deliver so far.
I too would pay for small DLCs with demigods, maps, etc (beyond the first promised free dlc). Anyway, good job Bman, they should hire you to finish their game, lol.

Please don't let this game die. :(
It's the Internet. It's not a bug, it's physics. If you want an idealized multiplayer experience you need to either play with friends who have connections and PCs that are well within the minimum requirements or on a LAN. In ANY game, if you play with strangers on the Internet you will have problems quite occasionally. This is nothing new and goes all the way back to the first online games.
Umm, no. The problem is the p2p system

In the system i proposed they are not eliminated, they will just play with some people that practice this thing more often than usual, that's all. The ranking lvl it's still in it's place, it's just combined with the # of disconnects. If they are noobs, they will still play with noobs, and if they are pro, they will play with other pro players. Add to this the concede option, for a quick fix of the late game "rage" quitting and you pretty much fixed the problem. I think...
i have gotten the impression that "good" players who make a big mistake at start (death) are more likely to leave the game, a noob who just got owned at start is going to keep dying becuase he does not realize whats happening and how his death affects the team balance. its my guess two same lvl of skilled oponents playing just one game is going to have a very uneven game becuse of the first 1-2 deaths and result in if one of the player often

Hmm, about some Frogboy's post, taken from another thread:
I can assure you that GPG is working very hard on Demigod and both us and Stardock are commited to the *long term* support for the game. Even today, we were having a friendly debate on the 2 new Demigods that are being developed on what powers they should have. We literally talk hours every day.
Why don't you make this debate public? I me
It's not that simple. Game studios have contracts, publishers have contracts, lots of money is invested (could run in the millions). Just postponing a release could mean contracts are broken and usually there are very VERY severe consequences.
I know that maybe i don't have the full picture, but as far as i know, publishers are responsible for the final quality of the game and it's their decision to postpone or not the rel

The thing is, when you start the game, you have ~1000 gold and most of the time you just buy something with it immediately. And when the first kills are made, at the beginning of the match, that killed DG has almost no gold on him, so there is no gold penalty for him. And most the time, the games are decided in the beginning, when some DGs die a lot (3-5 times). A better idea would be to increase the gold that creeps give upon dying (but give that amount of money to the DG that actual

This journal was good because it clarifies some of the misunderstanding some users have about who made the game and who is responsible for what. You should have clarified this a long time ago, imo... But...now that this is clear, i think i speak in the name of the whole community when i ask you to give us more GPG feedback. The forums are growing increasingly frustrated because of the lack of feedb

(updates are marked with ## ) Concede option : I agree with the concede option, but this isn't a real fix for rage quitting. Rage quitting is when a player quits in the first part of the game (usually in the first 1-15 minutes), either because he gets killed and can't take it or if he consi

I don't know what to say anymore. Two days ago, after the 1.01 patch, i was able to play 3 games in 3v3 mode without any ping spikes (one of them with US players). 4v4 and 5v5 still no go. I thought the reduction in DG bandwidth allow me to play 3v3 games , that's why i was asking here if the 1.01 patch did something for you in 3v3 matches. But today i've tried again a 3v3, and got spikes up to 1400, from minute to minute. I think something has to do with one of the players in the game, but i
