Agree again. This is definitely flawed logic at work.

The way i see it, may it be possible that crits ignore armour? Say he was level 20, with ashkandor only. his base dmg was 580, however you had armor that reduced his base damage to 230 (about 55-60% dmg reduction) however when a crit comes up, its 580x4 since it ignores armour?
Because no one wants to walk their user account into the "virtual room"(aka 3d environment equivalent of a window) for gaming, nor do they want to have look "around" for where they left that doc they were working on. Is that it over there? I can't tell from "here", let me take even longer to get to doing what I want to do while I zoom in. 3d is a feature/tool, not an end in and of its
Fallen89, you feel like a really spoiled brat, having everything served for you all the time. Wait until you get to start working! LOL
Besides, Bill Gates is to old to invent. Need to be someone young, and daring.
Why dont anyone make a 3d os? I mean, it was over 10 years ago games went 3d, and have only became better and better, however instantly everyone knew it was the future, so ID software flourished. And look at where we are today! Because someone took the plunge, daring the unknown, programming a 3d engine! But Operative Systems have been 2d forever. When are someone gonna take the plunge? Sure as hell wont be Microsoft, now that not even Bill Gates
Cool info! i like it! Really appreciated Frogboy!
I think this is just another aspect of Rook that we have to learn to adopt to. Keeping tabs on the camera, continuously updating for the optimal viewpoint in any given situation, is also a skill that need to be mastered. In the end, all other skills being equal, camera handling may actually be the skill to win the day! I say keep it as it is. In the beginning i also thought the Rook was unnecesarily large, but i adapted, and now i like this feature, trying to use it to my advantage, h
Same here. even in latest patch. they said they fixed it, but experienced the same issues yesterday in 3 different games. They bug seem to occur on every demigod, although it does occur less on demigods that have lesser targetable skills, like oak, that only have penitence. But on Ub, when you are chaining spit and grasp, it happens alot. Also Erebus bite is notorious for only going off about 60-70% of the time. At least thats my experience.
Since i only play pantheon, this is what i have noticed. I play very regularly as you can see from my stats, i generally try to start 20-30 games each day, and have done so since the release. Few games actually start though, and get recorded in the stats. I have the port range 6000-6200 open so its got nothing to do with ports. Pros: When it works, connecting to other players are MUCH faster! What previously took 1-2 minutes(the "connecting to player x", now usu
Still no reply from Stardock i see... Frogboy? Anyone? Please enlighten us, i tire of these wild speculations... bug or not?
By Esbon Posted May 12, 2009 02:02:46 I've noticed that the mini-health bar that appears over a unit's head rarely matchs up to the actual health status of the unit. Demigod's will show a tiny silver but still be at halflife. Anyone else notice this?
Indeed, i have noticed this a few times, giving chase into their tower line for that last hit, which became 2, which became 3-4-5 hits then its me dieing instead. After a few times of this i have l
...There will always be SOMEONE complaining on these forums about it, it seems! [e digicons][/e] Hang in there Stardock and GPG, i think you are doing great, for what its worth, and if you keep the patches and updates coming, this game will eventually be REALLY BIG!!! I can see it in my crystal ball! [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
I really thing if they applied a debuff (a decent debuff) when they hit, they'd be worth getting. I'd take anything: -Movement speed +Cooldowns -Health/Mana regen +Received Dmg -Armor -Mana Drain Hell, maybe even an interrupt. Just would be cool to have a true utility grunt. The priests are 'utility' but due to minos and archers being nothing but fodder, they're pretty much the 'tank' an

I can't even count the times something like this has happened: Alright, good, finally got that pain of a Rook down to half hp. Now, wait for the hammer slam... wait for it... wait for it... Stun! ... stun? Stunstunst-*wham, dead character*
Yeah this bug sure sux bad... almost as bad as Angels for 3.6k!
So the common opinion seems to be they suck? Archers at least are free when you get war rank 3, Angels on the other hand... 3.6k gold down the drain! almost a heart of life less for someone... for nothing, really.
They suck thats all!
Anyone know what the point with Angels are? Right now, they seem to only be a waste of money, an obstacle you need to get thru on the way to getting catapults/giants. 3600 gold is way too much for a unit that dont do any dmg and only flies around and gets shot down by towers all the time. Either make it so they stop and attack continuously, or do MASSIVE dmg on each flyby. They have by faaar the worst DPS in the game right now, usually they spawn, fly about abit, eat some tower flak, maybe ma
its by far the "coolest" upgrade, but also one of the most useless. It hits like once every minute and do measly amounts of damage for how late game it is. 3-4k would be better, since at war rank 10 most dgs have 5k+ hps anyway, and the chance that it actually hits a DG is minimal at best. With this change, at least if you where lucky enought to have it hit the enemy dg, you might actually be able to finish him off if hes nearby, making the finger worth it. but maybe thi
I actually like the idea. The favor items could maybe need some tweaking beforehand, stat-wise though, otherwise it could be too overpowering early game if certain combos where used...
However, one of two things is true. Either Erebus is balanced and I'm whining. This means he has vulnerabilities and weaknesses that I just don't know about. Enlighten me.
As you wish, heres some enlightenment; his weakness is his low dmg output, he doesnt have any real damage dealers, bite is his only burst dmg skill and it does so-so dmg, and can only damage units, not buildings. He is crap against all buildings, and
Nice! First post! Keep up the great work guys, i´m really looking forward to this patch going live to unite the beta community with the "non-beta" game community again, since its really hard to get a pantheon game going right now with the split communitys! Also the changes seem to head in the right direction! Any word on if this fixes the annoying stuck-when-issuing-attack-command? or non-responsiveness when casting skill after issuing attack order? (happens only
It probably wouldn't make that much damage if he could run while firing, they may need to adjust some damage for balance or something.
What do you mean much damage? Flawed logic! TB normal attack does no more damage than anyone elses normal attack, even less than most others actually. Compare to most melee attackers he does less, and compared to regulus and QoT who also shoot, he does about the same, although without the range of Regulus or the Splash damage of QoT
Nice find Herakleion! +1 karma for that. Seems not the most fun way to play the game, but they sure get some easy stats. Its kinda shooting yourself in the foot though, since even though your stats go up, your skill wont, so you will get paired with opponents that are much higher skilled then yourself doing that... so eventually when they decide to play, they will just get owned bad.
