Currently the game is very boring and kinda routine. Same things happen over and over again, characters use same combos over and over again, ganks or some unstandart situations are almost never happening. Almost everything relies on movement speed. You have more - enemy has no escape unless he portals unless you interrupt portal. It comes down to having more slow and higher ms. The gameplay feels much less fun than dota, where you have terrain, hills and canyons, you have woods to roam and tr

Yesterday had a game over Gameranger (i do have legal game copy, just cannot withstand online internet play its too hard to get going and hard to maintain, someone drops or lags..), one that went bad and all players except one opponent left. He had bad connection so i was spammed with constant messages of the kind: Desync Detected [OK] Problem is, you cannot control your hero until you click OK, nor can you

So right now the problem is not solved, forwarding one ports to one PC and others to another PC does not do the trick? Anyone got the game going with 2 PC's behind 1 router? EDIT: sorry i must have misread. So, for some people it works automatically without any portforwarding, and for others even forwarding wont help?

Dota got into cybersport, there are championships held worldwide and teams sposored by known brands host dota sections. This fact IS something to respect, and Demigod is far from this right now. Dota community sucks no more than any well-grown internet gaming community sucks. Computer games ARE played by kids and teenagers. Internet DOES bring a freedom to troll, shitspeak and not receive a beating, thats what those suckers lack in everyday life when they get loled at, punched, kicked

Kick should be only allowed for those who have ping over some limit. Host should be able to set this limit under game options. Then thing like in DOTA should appear, noticing that a player's ping exceeds the set limit. When some time passes, like 45 seconds, it should allow all players to click DROP button, and if majority does, player gets booted. If you just allow Kick, this will lead to situations like "someone owns me, i will try to convince others to kick him". Or "he is a noob k

somtimes unit just freezes in the middle of the battlefield surrounded by units and does not move, when nothing abstructs it. sometimes unit keeps hitting the tower or corner, until i "walk it" aroun it. otherwise units pathfind nicely, walking around corners and through enemy units.. i suppose they are passable through

Hello. How do i set up a situation when i want 2 computers to play simultaneonsely from behind one router? Before i did set one of my PC's to DMZ and hosted, and joined from other PC, but now i need both to be accessible from the net, what do i do?

this game is peer2peer, so its abigous... you think they disconnect (connection broken between u 2), they think you did. It can happen if the link between you becomes broken. Internet is like a web. there is more than 1 way between 2 points, but one is chosen as best and traffic goes over it. If it stalls on some point (router hanged up or power went off) your traffic could immediately go via another route but that is forbidden for protocol reasons (if you allow it to switch immediate

I've got a russian version of the game (Sold by 1C in russia). Its legal, got cdkey, registered, patched (from russian site, not from impulse). Installed impulse. I can see demigod in my games list but when i click "check installation" it says "game is not installed properly, please update"... now what does "Game is not properly installed" means and what should i update to make it be properly installed? or.. should i just stick with english version and forg

I have a LAN in my house, and a router. usually, i just set it to DMZ mode, exposing one of my computers to the internet (so that all packets going to my external IP get to my main PC). Now if i understand correctly, to play over internet i need connections in both ways, so people from internet will have to connect to my other computer, if i wanna play with a friend. So how do i set port forwarding in this case? is it possible for two persons to play at once if they are

okay, so how to register a serial with an account? because we tried, just regging an account on impulse does not allow to join multiplayer games, its only possible to join with an accout that has email matching to the email that was entered with a CD-key when game is being ran for the first time

I've bought 1 copy of demigod and installed it on 2 of my PC's to play over LAN. Both copies were registered with one email and Cd-Key. Now a friend of mine gonna buy his own copy so we can play online together. I have to deinstall game from one of the computers, reinstall it, repatch it and re-reg it for him to be able to play it on my second PC? Or is there a faster method?

- tell them they can have a refund if they like. This will show them that Stardock walks the walk as far as their bill of rights goes. ... can you in Russia? Go check out... Well, if i could play pirated one i would not buy it, i would pirate it. I only bought because it wont work with that hamachi crap. People here make arguments like "Get used to buying shit, they'll fix it later". Hey, do you make shitty job and get payed? How about you skip job and still get payed? How about you come to a new job and suck at it, do no good but still get payed because "you will improve later"? That aint happening? So why

Internet will always have shit talks because it removes boundaries of the real world. In real world you expect to get a punch in the face for saying fock you, even if you say it to a weakling noob, you expect he will find a moment to stab you in the back, thats why you wont do it. In the internet - you know you'll never get any punishment, so, you're free to do whatever you want. Thats where we come to see how nasty people are. Its just current state of humanity. It stinks very bad.</

Demigod is first of all buggy, Game start takes up to 10 minutes, WTF!? The game requires ALL PLAYERS TO HAVE ACTIVE CONNECTION WTF!? If i'm regular internet used with no personal IP, i can go home, no game for me. Demigod has tried to take best of DOTA and enhance it, yes, they stole almost every good ability from dota. Unclean beast is Pudge (rot, dismember) + old Naix (slow,poison,buff-self-ms+as), Regulus is Techies+Sniper with Assasination working like Enchantress' spears an

Well listen here, young troll n3crosys. Here is the photo http://www.ci.ru/archive/proof.jpg This is me, at this moment in my apartment with the Demigod DVD i bought today. As you can see: 1) The disc says "Licensed Copy (of a) Game" in russian in white letters over the red paint 2) The cash receipt confirms its bought, its title (Demigod) and its price 510 roubles (~17 dollars, thats what licen
