What if say 15 minutes after you've chosen your first favor item, you're allowed to select a 2nd favor of 3/4 or 1/2 the price? That would encourage people to select their favor items early instead of waiting until they need something to pick it.

Everything looks really nice. I'm hoping QoT gets a bit more because it looks like 1 stat was raised and one was lowered, which doesn't exactly equal to much of a buff. I like the beginnings of the item balancing and the new favor items. Although I think the new favor items could just be replacements for Swift anklet and Blood of the Fallen.
Possibly but were you unable to move for the remainder of the game and did you save the replay? The replay would be pretty important. If it is true that you somehow got magically hacked, why didn't both players get hacked. Surely if magla was so hack friendly then he could of nabbed both of you. Are you positive that you didn't get hit by an item bug or just plain out discovered a new demigod killing bug? This is a serious accusation and so far you don't
I agree with this too. I've been playing LoL a bunch with my buddies lately and although it's fun, none of the heroes have any depth to them at all. In DG I'm constantly thinking about how I'm going to evolve my skill build with the current situation. If DG had a bunch more items, that would even farther increase diversity.
Only DG I can't play at pro level is Sedna. I tend to play random a lot these days.
But this isn't dota and there are no other skills in DG like this. Even Bat Swarm requires Bite as well to do the same thing. Sure Bat Swarm is more useful for fleeing or chasing, but maybe Warp Strike will be cheaper or have a much faster cooldown time. I'm pretty sure this will be a fine ability if it functions just like the description.
It may still have problems but they are tamed and pushed down. I haven't run into any of them. Only problems I've had has been with other players and their poor connections.
Normally 5v5s lag because of one of two reasons. A) A player's computer can't handle the large map size and extra data and visuals needing to be processed, aka they suffer from poor sim speed and the game runs at the slowest sim speed. B) A player's internet connection is not up to par to handle all the connections a 5v5 requires. Even if they have a fast connection it doesn't mean they have all the connection requirements of upload and download rates. If they can't upload the
Both companies are indeed doing great. The only reason people feel like GPG is slacking is because of SD's constant communication and support. But just because GPG is quiet doesn't mean they aren't working just as hard. If you read Sorian's blog you'd see that GPG is most certainly working hard on getting everything worked out. So to everyone having doubts about GPG and such, just because a company isn't as open and talkative as SD does not mean they are forgetting about DG or not wor
uh Neoauld, this is not the place for individual problems or personal issues. The majority of the players have no problems getting games going and running smoothly bar the odd person with 55kb internet connection or running DG on a calculator. The game is not dead or dying. Please take your offensive self elsewhere. Also I can't wait to play with or against the new DGs. I'm pretty excited to see just what they can do.
I really enjoy the overlays. As a previous premade only player (my team moved on to LoL) I can judge other premade's skills and confidently figure out with my PUG team will stand a chance. It's also great to be able to tell which players have never played or just starting out and trying to join a "good players only" game.
Yes but it would annoy them enough to either quit or calm down so they can play their game. I like this idea but I'd hate to see it turn into a game.
I don't know, I wouldn't mind the heals being a hard number. Right now you can be become insanely powerful just by stacking your hp so you get like 800 point or greater heals. This would also mean that priests are actually useful for low hp builds.
They may not all be playing at that time but if you have it installed on your comp and you're logging in, then you'll likely be playing sooner or later so the numbers are still accurate.
uh a thread listing the premades sounds like an absolutely horrible idea. It will encourage players to avoid and insult the players on the list when they are trying to have a decent game. Just because a few players play together, does not mean they are at a level of skill to compete with the other more established teams of players. Making this list would just round up all the people who like to play with each other and label them as experts who should only play each other.
I wish things would update faster too, but I'm sure things will speed up once they get all their features that were missing into the game. v1.2 will help a lot then there will be Clan Wars. I'm pretty sure after Clan Wars they'll have so much time and man power that balance/item changes will happen much more frequently. Not to mention additional items being added.
When I played actively I'd exclusively play with at least my best friend and many times my clan. We'd do vs against ourselves fairly often if we had enough online but 2v2s are no where near as fun as a 4v4 or 5v5. The epicness just isn't quite all there. We would make "premade" game titles here and there and play against other premade teams when we could. But we wouldn't head to the forum to set up a game a few days in advance just so we could try and have a decent game days from now. We'd ac
I'd take mana draining minions vs TB and sedna and such. It can really put a hurting on your opponent if they can't use as many abilities as you can.
if only there was a replay vault
Silences all DGs in effected range. Cancels incoming skills/spells/abilities/items as well. Range: QoT's Ground Spikes Cost: 500g-1000g Duration: 10s-15s Cast Time: 3s-5s Recharge Time: 45s-60s This would make it difficult to use in a battle and it would be very difficult to stack throughout the entirety of the fight unless your whole team uses it. However, it could put you and your artifact full opponent on even terms. It's also
I'd make it use like 1k mana if it gets used on friendly towers, then normal mana cost otherwise. That way it'll make it tougher to just spam heals on towers. Maybe by max level it would cost 2k or so mana for friendly tower heals.
pretty interesting, but it may not be a typo, not with there being an AllFather and such.
i love the idea of player notes. I often find myself playing with someone i enjoy playing with or dislike playing with but can never remember what the reasons are.
I normally prefer hp regen over hp stacking, but DG doesn't allow for enough of it to matter much. Armor is extremely handy when facing large numbers of creeps, minions, or fast attacking DGs.
