Great news! It sucks that multiplayer has been riddled with so many problems, both on the users' end and on the developers' end. Yall are doing a great job and keep up the good work. You know its this honesty that is keeping many people around and bringing them back at each update. Once this connectivity issue has finally been ironed out enough I have a feeling a lot of people will jump back into it and perhaps even some of the people that returned it. Goodluck and try not to kill yourselves

They aren't needed but they aren't useless either. And though they don't spawn up in large numbers at first, being as they are hard to kill by anything but towers they tend to bunch up and before too long you're trying to fight off 10 or so each doing 100 dmg.
Yea they aren't frontline fighters. They help out a ton with scouting and distractions. They have a good bit of HP for fast moving flying units. So they can take that tower heat while ur heavy land forces do the damage. They are also a great counter to Heart of Life. Because if you are being chased by a few angels you won't get more than 2 or 3 seconds of HoL before they get in one of their weak hits. They're also great at killing other creeps.
Sometimes lag isn't caused by ping. There's a lot of times people people's machinces are slowing down the game because their computers just can't handle the game. And it seems a whole bunch of people are getting ping slow down and computer slow down confused. If it is stable, then 300-350ping is completely fine. I've seen people with unstable 120ping completely ruin a game. I refuse to play any game that says 150-200ping or below only. I think this is wrong. Sure you're ganna
Or they could be extra strong creeps and are no man's lands. Or prehaps protecting the pathway to an important flag or backdoor entrance to someone's base. I also wouldn't mind seeing enough neutral creeps that are spawned that they are actually sent towards both bases. It would give that map and extra something to watch out for. Like a single stray giant.
Mostly it is players faults for thinking something is overpowered over something else. It's really early in the game still and no one has really found all the most effective counters to a lot of the extremely powerful skills or characters. However, some skills are abit string it seems and <a id="ctl00__Content__Repea
Heh would be a confusing and scary demigod to go up against. Not sure if the engine could do it, but it would be awesome if it could.
There's an item where if movement is reduced like 50% you get a huge armor bonus or something. I don't think movement speed is capped.
I only grab speed upgrades sometimes. Sometimes the extra HP, armor, mana, or special ability is far better. I tend to try to trap people and ambush more than run down. Just depends on the map, enemy demigods, and my mood. However, it is pretty rediculus when you have an unclean beast with a run speed of like 10.2 or something.
I kill TBs all the time with my Oak. Oak is sorta weak vs any demigod for the first 5 or 6 levels. But after that he gets really powerful really fast. But it also depends on player skill levels. If you are a newish player using any demigod vs a decent to really good player, you will lose against him 1v1. Even if you're a few levels higher than him. If anyone is a tad too powerful, I'd say Erebus might be. But its easy to kill him too. Its just that your specific build might not be all
There's two sides to this. If you spawn faster than your opponent then you are feeding them extra experience. However, late game it could actually be useful. So if this was like a lvl 7-10 citadel upgrade it might be pretty sweet.
I kinda like this idea. Because for losing teams they could pool their gold together and purchase that upgrade that'll help them turn everything around maybe. Or it's just nice to have. But I could see a few people abusing it and wasting the teams gold on upgrades that aren't needed atm.
heh, yea his lines are pretty awesome
Well people could also learn that you can turn nearly any game around and still win. Sure it gets really hard to turn games around when you start losing badly but it can still be done if you're good. Giving more points to the losing team isn't a bad idea. But it will also mean everyone will end up with lots of points. Meaning favor items will become extremely common place for anyone. Idk if that's what was meant to be done with them.
I think this is a really really great idea. Early game its all about grabbing your stuff and running out on the field to set up or cap that first flag. Well this way it'd be a good bit easier to grab that cheap common item and go. Then while you are out on the field and have some downtime, which happens plenty, you could look through your upgrade paths so that the next time you returned to base to upgrade you'd know what to get really fast. This would also allow for many more items to
Spooky, Where did you find this information and that pic? First it's not june yet and second I've looked all over the internet and haven't found anything close to this awesome about supreme commander 2.
I would love to see this implemented inside the game at some point soon. Externally I know that there is a site coming up called www.demigoddb.com or at least i think thats the url. It will have a skill and item calculator which i'm already using to check things out with.
I'd have to suggest that too. Prehaps the teams could be average or maybe just the player replaced and if they are of a certain rank they will be replaced with harder and harder AI. That way the newer players won't get steam rolled by AI but pros won't be able to farm as easily.
I have yet to have any serious issues and I've played 10 or so games so far. Also it is NOT THE P2P that is breaking all of this. It may not be helping the situation but if you would keep track of Frogboy, you would know that its a problem with data not getting to the impulse servers from the NAT thingys which as I understand it was all created by Stardock. GREAT NEWS!! The patch is coming out looks like in just a few hours and it will fix nearly all the problems.
if its custom games maybe you happen to be lucking out with a good team that can take care of the other team while you push through. Or the other teams haven't been all that good yet. Or if its not custom games it could be that you're getting matched up with AI
Well a simple version could be released. Where instead of having to make this whole little awesome world you just make the plain platforms and walkways with very basic shapes. And later on if they wanted to they could add more simple patterns. Now that could be done fairly easily.
Why not have it fluctuate within a certain percent of the original price. Like no item can double in price or become less than 50% off.
This guy sounds pretty sweet. But would he be able to kill mobs effectively? I do like how he focuses on draining mana which will make him a pain to deal with even if he can't kill effectively.
