Dang it went a typed a big long reply only to have the forums bug out. Anyway... That isn't a bad idea with giving Generals the ability to control a limited number of creeps. It can either be dependent on their level or on the attribute skills. Maybe 2 creeps to start off with and 2 for each attribute level. Another idea would to have a brand new idol that would replace a single type of idol of any kind. This idol would be able to take control of a certain number of nearby friendly creeps

Hmm disabling certain items optionally may not be a bad idea. But some builds kinda need certain items.
The HoL is not the end all of items that everyone needs. I rarely ever get it. The only times I'll get it is on large or very large maps and if I know I will be able to use it without being interupted. If there's a beast on the other team I normally don't even bother with it. Using straight up normal items usually benefit me more. I tend to like to stack up on hp regen items and then just the velmish helm usually takes care of all my needs for an equal price and allows me to actually
This weekend something happened somewhere actually. Not really sure what but I'm guess there was some undisclosed maintence on someone's part that ended up screwing a bunch of things up this weekend. Besides this weekend, the game has be working very well with connections. Even now it seems the maintence is either over or coming to a close as everything is returning to normal. It is pretty frustrating but I betting we're ganna hear about this weekend, this week.
no you're not the only one with problems, but 90% of the online players don't have problems. Its actually more like 10% have problems if that. Its unfortunate that it's not work for you though. Where do you play from, country-wise
Not all premades are all that great. There are plenty of new players that all join up with their friends and they are all so new that probably a single really good player could kill 3 of them at once. It happens. But you'd never know they were a poor premade, you'd just remember it as an extremely easy game against some random people. The same goes with good premade teams. Sure they are much much tougher to win against but seriously we can't win them all. I play with at least 1 other
I'm hoping this was mentioned somewhere else at one point, but I couldn't find anything. If you drop an item and another player already has the the same item, but picks it up. One of the items disappears completely. Maybe there could be a check added to the game that would bring up a pop message which tells you, you can't have multiples of the same equipment.
I have to disagree with all 3 of the skills listed in that link. They are useless for killing other Demigods, but they have their uses. Deadeye - That's per normal shot. So if you fire every .5 seconds like some Regs do, then you've got a pretty good chance of stunning your target within 10 shots. The stun functions more like an interupt than a stun, thats why its only 0.3 seconds. Oak's skill does this same thing. Angelic Fury(final thingy) - Great for creeps at end game if y
Like pseudomelon said, if you like playing both RTS's and RPG's, then you will enjoy this game. You could probably best compare it to an extremely fast paced Diablo 2 with RTS elements. There are some connectivity problems, but they have fixed most of them. Stardock is in charge of the multiplayer connectivity and if you don't know their reputation, they will do everything in their power to make things work well. It might take a few patches, but it will get to a near perfect leve
No Alterschism It's pretty funny seeing the different people who get it and don't
Hmm this looks suspciously like this one.... http://forums.demigodthegame.com/353941
I think this would be worth testing out through a mod in the future.
Actually I meant those 3 levels DONT matter all that much. Sure it is much tougher to kill them but it's very possible if you double team that higher level DG. Or even just strike when it has been weakened. It is completely possible to kill even a lvl 15 while you're a lvl 10. So long as your DG is built to kill other DGs. A 10% adjustment would work just fine. It might be on the weak side but it would help out and not be overpowered or unbalanced. Because 1 and 2 level differences ha
Very nice news to hear.
Once I got comfortable in Supreme Commander I'd do this exact thing to help others out. I'll probably do this some time soon too and just try crazy off the wall builds so things don't become too one sided.
I see 3 level differences all the time. Prehaps that could be adjusted to like 10% per level.
Yea I normally just ignore those kinds of people. Ooze is just as powerful as spit and it's harder to tell you're getting hit by it. I'm actually trying to figure out a beastial wrath build that works decent. I was a Rook on Cataract one game holding off and killing the 3 other DGs. I had died a few times earlier on until I got some of my later game items and skills. One of my teammates would not shutup in ALL chat. Constantly telling me and my friend "how to play the game" while we w
theres umm options to change this and upgrades and items to decrease ur death time.
There could be a little button to minimize the screen, allowing you to type to the others and check out the battlefield one last time.
Its fixed in the 1.01 patch coming out in a few days. Spam = bad. Reading = good. Try searching the forums for things before you just toss up your topic.
We do get info indirectly from them occasionally. If you're reading Frogboy's journals, you'll see him mention things that GPG are working on here and their. The difference, though, is that Stardock is a publisher and is directly in charge of the public communications for both companies in regards to Demigod. Besides if GPG was reading all our posts AND replying to a bunch of them along with posting status updates, they'd lose a lot of patch time.
oops double post
Blizzard takes forever for their games. I don't see D3 or SC2 coming out anytime too soon. SC2 will likely come out first though. Apparently they have rebuilt both D3 and SC2 multiple times each ending in failure. And as much as I loved D1 and D2 I'm a bit shaky on D3. The team is the WoW team that is building it and their influence is VERY heavy in the art direction which is NOT a diablo art direction. Oh and of course SC2 is ganna be a carbon copy, they'd lose all their sales if it wasn't.<
Yea about those anciet wars and such. Along with all that epicness you have to account for the lack of any hygene, diseases, etc etc oh and no toilets or hot showers. It was actually a really sucky time to live in compared to our current time. And if the safety restrictions on the holo suite was removed then you could die quite easily by just some random bar fight or what not. Being in the middle of a war, future or past would sound cool but your lack of training would probably get yo
