While I disagree with the tone Skull is using to criticize the interace, I have to agree with some of the criticism, especially the ones concerning the mana of team mates. I think it's vital to show the mana of your team mates since it automatically helps stream line communication. Team members' mana and gold should, I think, be also considered basic information that shouldn't require text chat to inform team mates about (especially when a hectic team fight ensue

I think replays are at: C:\Documents and Settings\ {YOUR NAME} \My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\replays\ {YOUR PROFILE} Instead of the one mentioned in the OP.
I was skeptical about Supreme Commander 2 and waited for the veterans of the original to have their play and say. It's got positive feedback from some of them, so I've decided to buy it to see for myself. The OP has all the right in the world to give his opinions about the game, but going so far to say that he's "warning" other players is assuming everyone thinks like he does. [quote]I never played the original, so consider me 100% unbiased. The graphics are crappy. If this game came out in 2002, I'd be impressed. However, this is 2010, and the graphics need to be less blocky. The tutorial is painfully slow. It was obviously designed for eight year olds playing on their xbawks tree sitties. The supposedly helpful strategic mode does absolutely nothing for me. Instead of getting decent graphics you get some overlapping triangles. You can't see anythin
I share the same sentiments as DraekAlmasy. Those that game mostly on consoles are usually gamers who prefer the quick and easy setup of the system. This "quick and easy" preference (either for the more PC hardware illiterate or those who simply don't have the time, energy, nor interest to tinker with details) general carries over to their games of choice as well. RTS with deep gameplay general requires a certain level of necessary commitment on the player's part before the depth of t

I've got a coupon for 75% off as well up for grabs. PM me if anyone's interested.
The Star Trek Online trailer had no choice but to show nothing but space battles in order to appeal to the masses? I guess exploration and all that makes for poor game play.
I bought Space Rangers Bundle (Space Rangers 1 & 2) by mistake, I've wanted Space Rangers 2 Complete. I emailed Stardock's support for a possible refund/swap to Space Rangers 2 Complete and got replied that that wasn't possible. I ended up buying Space Rangers 2: Reboot separately, then found out that I've missed a sale where Space Rangers 2 was USD$4. Therefore, I've ended up paying much more than I would have needed to for what I wanted. Not a very economically sound holiday gam
What about that infamous "Success"?
I rofled.
Speaking of channeling animations, the Demon Assassin's channeling animation is a little awkward too. His hands just moves around like he's playfully crumpling some paper very fast. That's ok on it's own, but it looks rather dangerous when he's doing that while have his weapon, which has spikes coming of of its hand guard, in his hand all the time while he's doing it. :P /nitpicking

[quote]Hey, I just realized most people is already using this mod and that you can use it in mod-free online games. Well, I'm not using it yet, and although I see how useful it can be i don't really think this should be standardized IMHO. I mean, yes this a team game, but you still play as a single Demigod, why should you be able to "magically" see instantly what your fellow demigods gear and Mana amount is? That's what communication-team chat/speak is for after al
I have a minor bug report. With this mod enabled, when watching replays, I can see some "residual" UI panel of the mana bar when I'm in Observer mode.
No one has this issue? That's weird. I hope it's not a symptom of a larger problem.
No it won't, However, irresponsible and excessive abuse of this mod on the part of the mod user him/herself would. :P
Thanks for contributing, first of all. I have to ask though: which minions? The summon-ables or the idols?
Red Alert 3 - I'll admit I bought it for the women. After the novelty has expired, nothing else in it is interesting. That's about the only game I've ever regretted buying actually. Games I'm particularly fond of: 1) Supreme Commander & Forged Alliance Expansion - I never got very good at this, but this game really captured my imagination. Watching replays of top players became better than watching movies for me. I could cry at some of the spectacular skill those p
I personally prefer Impulse mainly because I don't need steam to be running to start the games bought through it, but there are some titles that Impulse just doesn't offer.
This is most splendid. Thanks for starting the legwork for this.

There's nothing they can do about the ping between you and EU players. What I'll suggest is that you try to play with people closer to where you are, which is to say, nearer to Asia. I'm from Singapore and I've found that my ping to Australian, Korean, Hong Kong or Japanese players are good. Try to find games hosted by these players and join them. :)
Aren't you guys missing the Demon Assassin?
