Just looked up a couple screenshots for LoL, why the hell does it look like it runs on the WC3 engine? It literally has the graphics of dota.

I'm a pretty decent Oak, hate rage quitters, and am always looking for a fun, competitive, and down to the wire game.
thats pretty frustrating imho... we played much better than they did, they just rushed in capped portals and stuff and in most cases died in the end of their kamikaze mission, what kind of strategy is that? i really like the game, but i really bothers me that it makes things like this possible
I'll give you a hint: You didn't play much better than them, and that's the beauty of Demigod.
I thought I was the only one who noticed this. I've only played against 2 people that actually know what they were doing when it comes to TB. The rest of the time I just consider it an easy free kill and roll them over.
Hey Foreskin, how's it hanging?
Lord-Orion, you are spot on, sell your precious items, and tech up your citadel. I actually pulled the opposite of this meneuvre a couple nights ago, where my team was getting pounded by the enemy. I sold my items and teched up to Giants with multiple health and damage upgrades, bought some teleport scrolls and locks, and we won. Remember that the best way to push an advantage is not to just get items, especially not
1. Raise Dead 2. Divine Justice 3. Pentinence 4. Raise Dead 2 5. Surge of Faith (you seriously only need 1 point in this) 6. Pentinence 2/Shield depending on how strong the other DGs are and I go from there, throwing in Soul Power when I feel it's time, and beefing up Pentinence/Shield depending on what's needed most in lieu of Dead Ward 3/4. With 1 rank in Surge of Faith farming, raising souls, and pushing towers is insanel
Oh yeah, when I think fun I think micro managing creep kills.
1. Soul Ward I 2. Divine Justice I 3. Penitence I Buy monks in the beginning and maybe a mana pot. I've been using the Blood of the Fallen lately because the extra hp and health regen is huge in the beginning and lets me focus more on damage later in the game.
Hypothetical situation, You're playing TB, your team is up five kills with zero deaths and the war rating is about tied. What do you do? A. Not use your massive damage AOEs to net giant amounts of exp and gold B. Die a couple of times C. Buy priests instead of currency 1, allowing the other team to catch up D. All of the above Oh wait, this just happened and the answer is D.
So far putting this strat into effect has netted me 100% positive results as I haven't died ONCE as The Rook since not picking The Rook, and you can too!
If you are terrible at playing The Rook... then don't pick him! If you run around the map setting up zero towers and not using any of your abilities... then don't pick The Rook! If you run in to the enemy demigod with only half health because you have no idea what structural transfer does... then pick a different demigod than The Rook! It's a pretty simple and solid strat new players and pros alike can really get behind.
what a l00ser

thread is now about cuties!
tl;dr plz sum it up 4 me thx :)
I've been playing exclusively Oak for the last 2 weeks and have fallen in love with him. The trick to be able to keep pressure on your enemies in the beginning until you hit level 8-10 and start sweeping face is buying the Monk Idol in the very beginning. The only thing I find that sucks about Oak is that if you have a shit team who can't hack it until you become an unstoppable beast you get rolled pretty easy.
this sure is a thread
