Quoting JSW_Ballz, reply 77 The last EA game I installed on my computer was the Spore Creature Creator (before Spore came out). It completely f*ed up my computer. I'm not going to boycot Stardock for putting EA on Impulse, but I definitely will not be buying an EA game again until they get rid of SecuROM. DRM is acceptable as long as it doesn't affect me, but I won't put up with it if I have to re

Touché :) Besides look at how the US portrayes mexicans, indians, the french, etc in movies. It's kind of lame to get mad when other people do the same to you.

Pff I had to put the laptop litterally 2 inches in front of my eyes to read that. Yes I use the laptop in bed, the world must hate me too [e digicons][/e]

Well we could open one up about Greenland. That thread would probably be pretty decent, however my knowledge of Greenland is somewhat limited [e digicons][/e]

And to think I actually thought reading Obama's msg to our kids in school tomorrow was boring and somewhat of a waste. Can someone tell me where the joke is? BTW, this article would have been easier and shorter had you just made it the ! reason the rest of the world hates us: 1. Envy.
Good one! You've just proven #9 again. I won't deny that the U

You know, I could actually deal with the searching. I carry dangerous stuff with me but that's for my medical condition which I have a pass for, other than that I never did get manhandled so far. The most annoying thing here for me is the time it takes, omg. However I'm increasingly beginning to wonder about privacy. Apparantly US customs are allowed to copy your entire harddrive of any laptop you carry with you, they want your personal information even before you enter the country an
Yeah, right. Captured criminals would be that much happier without handcuffs as well. All sorts of objects, from knives to bombs, have been brought aboard planes in hand luggage (laptop case?) and used to deadly effect a number of times in the past. If you don't want to open your laptop case, rent a private jet/helicopter. They won't bother. Oh and if you want to know why they're checking your shoes: <br /

This simply removes alot of question marks and coding limitations about certain situations and removes the chance for more bugs and exploits to creep in. One thing that this might be a pain in the ass with though could be getting the AI to deal with these areas.
Most simple solution would be to simply let them

Germany has lots of cities which are near enough to be easily reached by foot or bike.
Lul whut?! Near enough to reach by foot or bike? What, you expect people to walk for a couple of days to reach the nearest city? Quite funny in comparison to the USA, where people ar

22. It's legal to drive at 18, and it's legal to own a gun, yet when you see a nipple on TV everyone gets a heart attack. Ironically in the country that produces the most porn in the world. Actually let's just make that: 23. It's legal to own a gun.

Well my experience with making maps is that optimization is a bitch and that we should be thankful if some half-decent 2vs2 will be available that are playable by everyone. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of new maps, but between all the enthusiasm and great ideas many people forget that it's actually a lot of work and a lot will go wrong usually.

Yes, but it uses Granny, not 3DSMax. And nope, no map waiting, first Granny is supposed to be expensive, second maps take a long time to make. I hope there will be some sort of export tool for 3DSMax though because it's cheaper and more modders have experience with it, but no word from GPG (duh) on this.
Another situation: Three firemen at a burning building. One is outside, hosing the building from a safe (relatively speaking) distance. Two are inside looking for trapped people They both save a person each. The chief outside gives the order to fall back because the building is coming down. One fireman disobey's orders and goes back inside to rescue one more person. Who is/are the hero(es)?<b
The problem we're seeing on this forum is that the two sides seem to be displaying the issue in black and white. While it's unfortunate that the teenager was killed, at the same time the police were doing their jobs; that is, upholding the law and protecting the law-abiding from the lawbreaker. I don't think the dispute is whether or not police were doing their jobs, obviously they were, but rather that heroism should not be

Please don't let this become a flame thread, I for one actually think we got a decent discussion going here, atleast people are giving arguments for their opinions, this little fact alone means it's better than I've seen the "if they don't get money, why should they keep doing it?" sentense a couple of times, and would like tohook in there. For me there's a big difference between the game studios and the (greedy) publishers behind them. In my opinion g
