Hmm strange, I download with 2 MB/s (byte, not bit) from the Impulse servers, which is my max.

I have almost no idea what to expect of this game but I expect that the gameplay will probably not appeal to me. I do however really like the artistic style so far. It's a game that's not afraid to be different.

Ups sorry on my part, I didn't look at the creep path pic and assumed all waves would meet in the middle. Wraid's post made me assume that, because creep waves not on screen generally don't drag down performance much, so by him saying he'd have poor performance I assumed they would all be on screen at once, meaning in the middle. My bad :)
Also that would give too big of an advantage to AOE heavy demigods probably
Quoting Fuzzy Logic, reply 11 If they are not available outside US, why is the price shown in GBP? Impulse converts price automatically i guess... Maybe there should be option not to show games which arent available in your region.
Yes and also a note here saying the reduced price is not for outside the EU. Has been mentioned before, they just don't care.
..and I feel assraped by a 5 foot concrete fist once again.
You should make a portfolio of all your work TSA and if you ever desire a job in the industry send it along with your application. I would be surprised if anyone would even ask you for a resume and not straight hire you for the job.
Ohh missed this thread earlier. +1 for you.
If it's all too hard...or all too costly...don't purchase.
Funny, because whenever people are unhappy and don't purchase a product because it has draconic DRM or insane prices their profits drop and guess who gets blaimed? Not their own poor sales tactic, no pirates. Condemn piracy all you want, at the moment corporations that complain most about it only use it as an excuse to justify poor sales of their own piece of s
Yep same in my country. And while pretty much every group of people under the age of 30 is wondering and asking why, the government doesn't seem to give a crap and even give those private groups more and more rights.
I have some critique on the AI, I'd love to post about it but apparantly according to some players here I am not allowed because it's a multiplayer game, and I'm not allowed to enjoy it in SP.
just curious, what is the basis (experience) with the US court system to draw your arguments from.
I'm beginning to wonder what yours is. I am not that familiar with the US system of electing judges, besides that the government does it, but you seem terribly cynical about them being unbiased. For me, coming from the EU, judges are one of the few parties I trust completely. Something I cannot say about my government.
If I had his speeds I would show off too, that's for sure ^^
Actually judges should be unbiased, atleast on laws that are involved with the case. If a judge is anti-homo, and the defendant is a homosexual, and the defendant suspect the verdict being influenced by the judge's opinion then he can .. whatever the legal term is but they can complain and if his objections are indeed relevant he can demand another judge. This is a fundemental right! Judges need to be objective, if maybe he's not, then exit judge, viva le (new) judge! T
Perfect, because maximum appeal is what we're going for...in most things art there is seldom a 'right' answer There may be a distinction between what looks good and what's most playable over the long term. I'm trying to think of a good example. Maybe calligraphy fonts work as an example. They look very cool and are nice for flavor, but I wouldn't want to read an entire book in that kind of font. No HDR didn't look
You can see who the pirates here are by the attitude. I hope someone is taking down names...
Though certainly not innocent in the past, I do nothing wrong according to the law in my country. According to national law, I'm not a pirate. Downloading stuff does not automatically equal pirating! (even if doing the same might qualify as pirating in your country).
Brad said that he more or less has an unlimited budget, but I can imagine he doesn't want to spend $10k so we can have a free map. Time is not an issue for them, because they don't make the maps. GPG does, and my guess is that after v1.2 we'll only see some small bugfixes and that's it. They don't wanna spend the money and spend all their time on SupCom2. IMO the Impulse system should be able to list good mods and maybe even host them, depending on bandwith taken (dunno

Hmm not sure I care either way, both options have their good and bad sides. What I do hate though is that I bought this game with the promise of more demigods and maps. In the end we'll have 2 free demigods and that's it.

The current standing is we've got the companies waaaaay on the left and the consumer
Frogboy said as much as that it's too expensive for them or GPG to make more, so the modding guys are our only hope.
What makes you think it's a bad minion general? That will only decided by balance, which you don't know about yet. A demigod can do 75% of the damage himself and 25% by the minions, the other way around, get 50% of the damage by 2 minions, get 50% by 8 minions, there is so much to vary. I don't know how you seem to know already how having few minions makes this demigod bad per definition.
