Sedna + 3rd level heal = full speed Oak + 3rd level shiel = full speed Ere + mist = full speed Ere + mist + bat swarm + bite = dead regulus Honestly, though, when I see a build like this, I just pick up a wand of speed. 1750 for a really useful item that pretty much negates someone's choice of Favor Item. The thing is that most people just continue on with their normal build and don't adapt when a snare regulus shows up. It is counterable, just t

A bit of a whine. . . If you aren't using the enter key to talk to your teammates, you will lose. A lot. It is the single most common correlative action with losing. I played a very frustrating game where it was impossible to coordinate anything. I was calling out targets, stating when I was OOM or needed to retreat. My teammates didn't type a thing, except that after our citadel fell one of them typed that I complained all game long. Great.
This looks pretty much like the first Sedna build I ever made. And I don't play it any more. There are two reasons: 1. HP builds hold lanes by never running out of health. Speed builds hold lanes by staying safe and out-leveling slower builds with farming and flag capping. Sedna is probably the worst farmer in the game because of her low damage, slow attack and lack or AoE. While a speedy TB can zip in, fire up the creeps and run away, Sedna needs t
I pretty much play Sedna exclusively and I will get priests as soon as I hit level 5 and get Healing Wind 2. The buff it provides is tremendous and it becomes close to impossible to knock me out of a lane unless you gang up on me. And if you're ganging up on me, that means my teammates and the priest wave are unopposed in other lanes tearing down towers.
If you have a Sedna on your team with HW2, priests are a big plus. She buffs the priests dramatically, as is well known, even with the High Priest glitch removed. And since they heal independently of minion priests like Monks - Bishops, you can get double the healing if you're in lane with a General and close to triple the healing if that General is Sedna. Put an ooze UB and a healing Sedna in a lane with priests at WS3 and they can push all the way to the citadel if they wa
Every game I have playerd in the past two days has ended, usually at the point where the game has been decided, with an 'Invalid Gamestate' error. In the week prior, I noticed many more of these happening, usually when I was on the winning side. Prior to this, these errors would occur only now and then. And when they have occurred they happen at random times, often near the beginning of the game. I'm really beginning to suspect that there is something new out there.
Regen stacking can be really effective with Sedna because she can get an extra +44 HPS with her abilities. It's possible to get her to +80 or +90 HPS. Considering most +HPS items also stack health, it's win-win. Health is still king though. Health is always better than speed, because you can't run away from fights forever. Tanks will hold flags that speed builds cannot. Armor's benefits taper off. By level 10, the biggest damage threat is specials

One big issue with Erebus's minions against Rook is that they can be placed directly under his feet where it's impossible to Hammer Slam. Rook is too slow to effectively position himself to slam the minions. Worse, if you slam too close to yourself, Rook just stands there and does nothing. Further, towers end up splitting all of their firepower amongst the minions. Even if you had 8 towers up, his minions swarm can run around comfortably in your farm because they're pr

Regarding teleport favor item, it depends what you're doing with Rook. If you're playing an ambush build (i.e. watching flag and towers for an opportunity to tele/roll/slam) then having the favor item is worth it. You can easily teleport 4-5 times on a single trip out from you shop which is going to use up 2 slots and cost 1,000+ gold. It gives you an extra consumable slot which can be used for a Wand of Speed, Magus Rod, or Orb of Defiance, depending on your play style.&nbs
I tend not to buy priests unless I'm rolling in cash, which is unlikely. Someone asked if I use the second 1,000 for monks and the answer is no. I use that for a Vlemish Helm. If I decide to get high priests I will get them after I have purchased Vlemish, Nimroth, Unbreakable and currency. But you have to understand my Sedna style. I do not play as an assassin, but as a baiting tank. I don't even take Pounce 1 until level 10 or 11 because I'm not interested
That was a bannable post? Jeez, that's lame. I've been a moderator on other forums for years and you need a really defensive admin to ban for something like that. There was no cursing, racism, trolling or anything. If sarcasm and snarkiness is a bannable offense, you might as well ban the whole internet.

We've had this discussion before, your assumption that one takes constant dps is what leads you to your false conclusions.
It is obvious that this discussion is fruitless. I've played both monk builds and HP stack builds. HP stack builds always win for me. Getting back HP is relatively easy with some planning and thinking. It's easiest for Sedna of all the
No, not really. I'm coming out with an extra 600 armor and 500 health and +5 HPS over the monk user. I'm going to hit them harder and can absorb more hits. In an opening 1v1 on a lane I'm going to hold my own until it becomes 2v1. And let's face it, that's what really happens in a game. It doesn't matter a whit I can hold a lane 1v1 for 45 seconds and a monk user can hold it for 50 seconds. Something is go
Quoting SaulTigh, reply 11 2. Monk heals are not reliable in combat. You can't count on them to heal you when you need it. So you end up relying on your own heal anyhow. If they aren't healing you, it is because they have already healed you. If you are looking at your monks while running away with 100 hit points thinking "See they aren't healing me right now!" then you probably missed the fact they
I know this is heresy, but count me in the scale+banded crowd for Sedna. Here's my logic: 1. Scale+banded+BotF will give you the best starting HP+armor combo to start. More than enough to hold a lane from levels 1-3. You won't be forced out before you hit the 1,750 gold mark which is when you were headed back for a Vlemish anyhow. 2. Monk heals are not reliable in combat. You can't count on them to heal you when you need it. So you end
Interestingly, I use almost the same build except I replace the hammer slam with towers. I find that with Vlemish and Planor I easily have enough mana to spam towers and rolls pretty much continuously. I can completely cover a lane with towers and let my trebuchet handle enemy towers from a safe distance. If anyone attempts to attack me, I retreat into my tower farm. If they follow, I'll boulder roll them and attack. The combination of the stun plus Wyrmskin can
She's vulnerable to stun ganking. An Erebus-UB team can make short work of her with a combination of charm-bite and foul grasp-spit. She may be close to impossible to take down 1v1, but she can go down quickly in 2v1 and 2v2 scenarios when she's the main target. She doesn't do as much damage as ohter DGs, so so if you burst her down to 2/3 or lower health with stuns, she will usually have to flee because she's not going to be able to take anyone out. Other DGs have way
I feel you pain. I got stomped by three premades last night as well. And there comes a point about 10 minutes in when you realize it's hopeless but there's still 20 minutes left to go where you just want to ragequit. I won't ragequit, but I will park my toon some place and go read the internet for a bit. Either way it's a frustrating waste of my time. Concede was supposed to help that a bit, but when you can't get one guy to concede, you just get to sit there.</p
I might add that starting out with Monks is much stronger than starting out with Scalemail+Banded, which will lead to seizing more lanes, forcing more enemy DGs off the field, and never needing to return to base yourself unless shopping.
That's simply not true. Monks at L1 will get you +30 HPS, best case scenario. Banded + Scale gives you 400 health, 600 armor and +5 HPS. Assuming you're taking 200 DPS of autodama
Monks are ownage man, you should get them right out of the gates. Sedna with Heal 1, Monk minions, and BotF is the strongest possible level 1 DG on the field, and will forcefully seize her lane from anything, very much including your monk-less Sedna. Heres some math, the HPS from those Monks is ridiculous, more than all your other regen combined! Sedna Level 1 HP w/ BotF = 2400, 2400*.1 = 240. 240/8 = 30 HPS. This o
