Y'know, it's been all of 24 hours and I'm already missing the game. There has been a level of hostility growing over the past few months which is impossible to ignore, though. I watch it get taken out on myself and other players, and sadly sometimes I partake as well. Last night it got under my skin, which is saying something. In retrospect, I should have cooled off before posting, but, Jesus, getting ragged on and then booted from a lobby was too much for me to stom

To those of you who played with me today (and then kicked me from the lobby! That was nice. Really? I deserved that?), this wasn't a one day thing. This had been my feeling for weeks, maybe months. I guess you provided a sense of clarity to how little I enjoy playing now, despite that I love the game itself and have played it since day one. I'm pretty thick skinned and if it got to me, then I can only imagine what others may have felt in the past.
I swear people go out of their way to alienate every mid player out there, and frankly, I've had enough. It's so tough to find a game anyhow without having to catch a ton of bullshit in the lobby and in-game. I've never been a top-tier player. I'm good at best. But some of the shit I catch? Forget it. This is no longer worth my time or aggravation. It's been so bad the past few weeks, the game just isn't fun anymore. Some of you people really need to

If that's the case, then you could do the strat I listed in a 2v2 or 2v1 situation where a ub is coming up to spit on your teammate. Again, not exactly awe-inspiring, but one of the few potential uses. Good thought about removing spit on monks though. I've seen bots ubs doing that as well from time to time. I lived in NYC during 9/11 and was a huge CS fan at the time. After that, I couldn't play the terrorist side. Sounds crazy, but it's true. I doubt I could ever play the Taliban, certainly not when the war is going on. For the German - WWII analogy, you need to really think about who the Taliban are and what they stand for. I doubt I would play a WWII game as a Nazi, but I can handle playing as the Wehrmacht.
1. 1,500. There's a steep premium for getting an extra equipment slot 2. Hauberk, unless I'm really getting hammered by minions. Hauberk is great for Sedna with Bishops and HW2. It effectively gives you and extra 26.5 health per second and buffs the Bishops by 200HP making them tougher to kill 3. Wyrmskin, hands down. 4. If cost is no object, Doomspite. My idea was just to stick a Tower or two on the citadel. It'd be enough to stop rogue spirit attacks. I played with an awful spirit Oak last night who basically ignored everything but playing with his spirits. That made it a 2v3 from my point of view. We got slaughtered and couldn't hold any flags. And YET! we nearly won the game because his spirits had their citadel down to about 25% when ours fell. I felt dirty just being in the game.
Simply put, you didn't strike a killing blow and I do not know why. Trust me I was there. At the 18:00 mark, you had WS8 and we had WS5. Between the three of you, you had enough money to get priests, angels and cats in maybe a minute. At the 20:00 mark, both you and Kiamori have gone in, but upgraded equipment instead of buying creeps. At 21:00 Angus heads in, buys equipment. You now have WS 9 At 23:00 You are at our portal but we lock i
I would still say the best L5 ability is DA's shadow swap. When used correctly it is utterly devastating and impossible to counter. 'Correctly' is the operative word, though. Using shadow swap badly will usually result in the DA getting killed, where using Silence incorrectly just wastes mana.

I think the point still remains that if only one specific build of one specific DG can maybe counter minion Oak before level 10, I'd say that's a bit unbalanced. Especially when that one specific DG is the only one that is possibly more powerful than Oak in the first place. The only saving grace with minion oak is that it takes finesse and patience that most players don't have or aren't willing to develop.

Hedgie, I hope you don't mind this post. It's my current build and it would be better to consolidate it into this guide than having a separate post. If you want me to post it in another thread, I'll erase the response. Blood-Tank : (See above)
I sorta agree with this. I've seen some ridiculous Oaks lately, even if he wasn't ridiculous before. Certainly in 2v2 the Oak anti-citadel minion build is an easy win. If one of the two players has to baby sit the citadel then it is just trivial to win with war score, gold and experience. Remember that someone baby sitting gets no experience and basically no gold. I'm usually don't get bent out of shape if a minion Oak is busy tearing up towers. There are a
Has anyone realized the real root of the problem is that there are so few people playing at any given time that there isn't a good mix of skills around at any given time? The real problem isn't the stats, it's that there aren't enough people playing.
For the record, I played against 4Nana's mulch build yesterday and it is brutal. 4Nana plays her very very well, to the point that QOT was as impossible to kill as a high HP Sedna. Level 10 mulch heals as much as Sedna's heal with the same cooldown for insignificantly greater mana. Between that and a 1,450 pt shield every five seconds you will not be able to take her down as long as she has mana. With me as Sedna and a Regulus constantly shrapnel mining her, she was ab

Funny. Over the past two weeks I've twice had graphical related issues with DB where I had never had any before. In both cases, the whole screen went black, with the exception of the bottom bar, mini-map, and damage numbers. In one case I fixed it by alt-tabbing out and back. In the other case, alt-tabbing out crashed the game (luckily within the first three minutes).

But the build I like, especially against melee/minion teams emphasizes using boulder as often as possible. Beast's grasp could be easily balanced if it counted as a stun like Rook's boulder roll or Erebus's charm. The reason grasp is so freakin overpowered is because you can stun chain someone for five or six seconds. If you try and grasp someone that has stun immunity, tough cookies, you need to wait. Grasp stun time should be reduced at low levels and increased at high levels. There should be a reason to sink points into a higher level grasp. Grasp should
