Im new to overclocking, but when I set the FSB from 333 to 400, my system freezes when windows boots up, and my multiplier is locked. Any suggestions?

I run Vista Home Premium 64-bit Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3Ghz 8GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT And i can only get 2-3 tops sim speed in all 3v3 online matches. Any help is appreciated.

Ok, set exceptions and that did not work. Reset Data and Impulse kept trying to "connect". I Restarted Impulse anyway and it said it updated, but now when I try to update Demigod, it says needs to wait for Impulse to connect and it doesn't seem like thats going to happen.

So when i try and update, it just says Preparing.... Been about 2 hours now and I think it should be done preparing by now... Any help?
