Oh, yes, I understand that. I will likely play both GalCiv and MOO3 (IF I have time!). In fact, I still have MOO2 installed on my PC as well. I still like it more than MOO3 at this point. GalCiv looks and sounds like a great game. The only thing I might miss is the tactical ship combat, but the strategic combat ala Civilization worked in that series so why not this? I heard there will or is an external ship editor for GalCiv so I am not worried that there is no ship design in game. At any rate,
I am hoping this game will meet my expectations. The interface looks simple and intuitive. That is good. Is there a right click help popup like there was in MOO2? Speaking of MOO, I have MOO3 and have been tinkering with it. I like some aspects of the game, but that interface is a bear. That is the only thing that has kept me from playing it more. Well, that and I am waiting on the patch. In any case, I very well may purchase GalCiv. It looks quite interesting, I just wish the star map was a lit
