Hi There all. Is there a site/download which allows you to enter a ship or improvement etc... and then reports back to you all the techs you need to research in order? In Civ 4 all you need to do is set your "goal" on the tech screen and you'll automatically research the techs required to get there? any help appreciated... PS is there a Gal Civ 2 version of Javascout anywhere?

Thanks, now I've found the planet "detail" screen i understand a bit more... At the top of the Planet Screen there appear to be three options to focus production on Military etc... Exactly how do they work, If i've already elected to build say a factory on an available square what difference do these options make? I'm not sure how to understand their role Any Help appreciated

Is there a version of Javascout for Gal Civ 2? I got the Galactopedia but this is nowhere near as good as Javascout With Javascout you can pick any item your interested in and it listed "all" the researches in the order you needed them to get to it? It would be great if you could set your research "goal" in Gal Civ like you can in Civ 4..... What do folks think?

Am I missing something, On the home page there's a link to a Beginners Guide. There's a section there on plantary governors which says... "If you click the little button that looks like it has 2 line graphs on it you are taken to the Civilization Manager. One of the most useful ways to automate things is with governors. The governors allow you to give orders globally and have them carried out. So for instance, you could have all your ships that are going to rally point X to chang

I know this is slightly off topic but I noticed a discussion in another thread concerning Space Empires 4 Do any of you remember a game called Starflight 2. This was the most immersive Space Exploration game I can rember from my youth where you got to build a relationship with the other races and there was an underlying plot to the game. I also remember you could actually land on the planets and go exploring for ruins in a landcraft.... Ah the memories.... Anyone know of anything si

Thanks Mindshock, I guess that means if you build a colony ship and run out of planets to actually "colonise" then you've wasted the pop on the ship. It does seem a bit strange that you can't just transfer them to a planet you already own? Thanks though
