Hi There all. Is there a site/download which allows you to enter a ship or improvement etc... and then reports back to you all the techs you need to research in order? In Civ 4 all you need to do is set your "goal" on the tech screen and you'll automatically research the techs required to get there? any help appreciated... PS is there a Gal Civ 2 version of Javascout anywhere?
Any news on a future Javascout for Gal Civ 2?
The easiest way to identify "habitable" planets is to zoom right out "5" key and you'll see planet icons filled in to a greater or lesser extent, the more filled in they are the more habitable they are....
Thanks, now I've found the planet "detail" screen i understand a bit more... At the top of the Planet Screen there appear to be three options to focus production on Military etc... Exactly how do they work, If i've already elected to build say a factory on an available square what difference do these options make? I'm not sure how to understand their role Any Help appreciated
Is there a version of Javascout for Gal Civ 2? I got the Galactopedia but this is nowhere near as good as Javascout With Javascout you can pick any item your interested in and it listed "all" the researches in the order you needed them to get to it? It would be great if you could set your research "goal" in Gal Civ like you can in Civ 4..... What do folks think?
Do any of the experts know anything about how planeraty governors might work?
Am I missing something, On the home page there's a link to a Beginners Guide. There's a section there on plantary governors which says... "If you click the little button that looks like it has 2 line graphs on it you are taken to the Civilization Manager. One of the most useful ways to automate things is with governors. The governors allow you to give orders globally and have them carried out. So for instance, you could have all your ships that are going to rally point X to chang

Hi there, I'm confused as to why, apart from the now two official campaigns, no player fan base campaigns have been created, is it too difficult to create them or am I simply looking in the wrong place for them? Any help appreciated.
One of the options on the research screen is to sort at the top of the research list. One of the sort options given is by "pre requisite" can anyone tell me what this means? A pre requisite to what? Thanks
What actually is "Ship Quality"? Is it 15% extra hit points? thanks
When I build a Shipyard it gives +15 Starships. What exactly does that mean? Does it mean all Ships I build at this planer will cost 15% less resources to build?
Please can someone tell me how to reset the alien races to their default alignments or tell me what they are so I can do it manually? Any help appreciated.
I know this is slightly off topic but I noticed a discussion in another thread concerning Space Empires 4 Do any of you remember a game called Starflight 2. This was the most immersive Space Exploration game I can rember from my youth where you got to build a relationship with the other races and there was an underlying plot to the game. I also remember you could actually land on the planets and go exploring for ruins in a landcraft.... Ah the memories.... Anyone know of anything si
Ok, I've cracked it, I pressed the turn button a few more times and the cut scene kicked in... Time for mission four! ;-)
Ok after many, many attempts I've finally managed to capture Vol but......... The game does not move on to the next scenario, can anyone tell me what I need to do to continue? Any help appreciated, Thanks [Message Edited]
Is there a special area on the site where we can go to download user Campaigns or Scenarios? I've got completely stuck on the third mission in the AP official Campaign and want to try something else. Thanks
Joqorhan, I need more specific help please I've had five planets churning out nothing but corvettes and transports for over an hour and the rogue ship just plucks them off before they get there.............
When you "resume" a saved campaign the screen seems to default to "Normal" difficulty? Does anyone know if the campaign mode saves the difficulty level? Thanks
Thanks Mindshock, I guess that means if you build a colony ship and run out of planets to actually "colonise" then you've wasted the pop on the ship. It does seem a bit strange that you can't just transfer them to a planet you already own? Thanks though
I must be missing something.... I park the ship over one of my planets then click the disband button, the ship disbands but the plant pop figure does not change? What am I doing wrong. I'm currently playing the first scenario in the AP Campaign Thanks
I have a colony ship and there's no where left to send it to colonise.... ;-( How do I go about unloading the colonists on to one of my current planets before disbanding it? Thanks
Are there any quick keys (F5 Etc..) for the game Eg. Quick Save/Load Thanks
