OP, I agree with you. In fact, I'd think that the player base is experiencing a net increase, as I know some people who simply have not gotten the game yet due to hearing bad things about it, but I would venture to guess they will buy it in the future when a demo comes out. I've not had that much problems with premades. I think they are relatively rare compared to most PUG players. Even people who have friends that play, it's often hard to get to play at the same time

I'm sure this has been suggested somewhere before. Having towers destroyed and being unable to replace them is a source of constant annoyance to me. I would like to be able to have the option to pay gold to replace permanent towers or to create additional towers to bolster our defenses. However, I don't think it's a good idea to allow players to place towers anywhere they choose. Proposal: Each map should have a tower spawn point at each default tower location. If th

I'm not sure I'd like to share my bounty with someone who got a couple hits in on someone I took the most time to kill. Putting in assists might actually end up pissing off teammates. 500 + (50*lvl) would simply scale it less, giving less for higher kills, decreasing the chance for a huge landslide and allowing you to come back. Or maybe it should actually scale more on higher levels? Not sure. I don't feel that strongly about this issue, though.

I don't think we're talking about server-client gameplay here. Demigod is peer-to-peer. There are a gazillion custom games/maps for W3, and it doesn't fragment the community. Or if you want to talk about server-based games, TF2 has custom maps and options, and that game goes on strong. Counterstrike is another example. I'm still confused what you're trying to say about server-defining, though.

Rooks are the only Demigod I grimace at when my teammate picks it. I see Rooks get killed first blood more than any other Demigod. In the hands of a good player, they can be a powerhouse, but most of them I see suck. Just take advantage of their immobility. Fight on your own terms.
Good point, but what about all the shite we actually earned? I just wish we'd have been informed in advance that with the stat reset, favor would be reset as well. I'd have taken a week or so away from the game and not taken the time to try to earn more favor. I truly don't think its the biggest deal in the world, but I think they should have taken the time to address this. I see all of the pros for doing so&nbs
I'd like to see a possible merging of both ideas. I still love the idea of favor items the way they are, but I do feel many of them need to be rebalanced or removed. I'd like this idea when the community gets to a point where many have excessive amounts of favour they're not spending, they can spend it on cosmetic unlocks instead of seemingly useless favor items. If you joined a game with that setting and you don't like it, you are free to setup your own game or join another.
I agree with this. If they are coming out with modability, it would make all options moot soon, anyways. So no matter how much you're going to defend or attack whether an option is good or bad, the fact stands is that more options for customization is always good for a game's last

It's not like Fire TB is SO frickin powerful that it can't afford to AA. Seriously.

The Item Shop AND Artifact Shop needs reworking. Once I have all my lower ~1500gold gear, if I have ~4k, I don't know what to really spend it on, other than cit upgrades.

Rob, I hope you meant don't do it on lanes when your teammates are creeping without you... Yeah, I can see the situations when you'd want to click ahead instead of just using fireball. The target pathfinding is a little off in 1.1 too.
I honestly don't know what goes on in WoW, but in a real pvp game (Guild Wars) "stun" locking is an integral part of high level gameplay. Chaining knockdowns on monks so that there's no time to cast in between is a very potent method of generating pressure and scoring kills. Every good team does this. Because of that, every good team learns to survive despite it or prevent it from happening altogether. Because of that, every good team learns to sh
Your opponent is afk? Where are his abilities and how do they fit into this? You go ahead and pounce the invincible Oak while 10 spirits attack you. Also, while Yeti stats are not completely horrible, it's mainly their pathfinding t

I think by now we can stop debating with Seanner about this. I don't see how else we can demonstrate, aside from a real match, that Yetis is Sedna's worst skill and needs some love. If he wants to believe that Yetis are good, well, that's his opinion, just don't play with him on your team. LOL

I think more to reality, this is used to deny the opponent gold and stat from dealing a death blow. I don't see many Ere would just go around constantly killing himself, but just using blood as a last resort. Which should not happen.

Has anyone noticed that Rain of Ice doesn't always hit for what damage the tooltip says it should?

Yes, Ice TB has faster mana regen if you get the Permafrost aura level 2 and 3. With the Ice-Fire bonus, that's pretty decent mana there. It's usually good to switch forms when you're doing nothing so you get the mana regen. Zechno is correct, plinking away is better than saving for a burst. IMO, killing a DG is just gravy on top of making them leave the lane. One thing I don't like about pure Fire TB is that he can't chase DGs worth squat, other than a fireball to the back.</
