I wouldn't mind any way but my prefered way is: Each item has it's own upgrade path.(1-3 levels) The movement boots could start with the 10% move for 500 gold, 15% for an additional 500, and 20% for an additional 1000. All the while increasing the armour the item gives by like 10% per level. Artifacts could get better and better activateable abilities. It would also eliminate looking for the the plain higher level of what I already have thing and allow for more room fo

When trying to start (launch as host) a game alt-tabbed, demigod crashed and gave me this report: Failed assertion: parameters.technique File: C:\work\forge\beta\code\src\user\TerrainMaterial.cpp Line: 176 Program : C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe Cmd line arguments : Callstack: unavailable. I like it, imma go photo shop my skill trees idea now!
That good sir is BS it all depends on personal prefrence, DotA may be the most popular, but there are plenty of well balanced, fun, and diffrent AoS's out there.
I was playing a 1v1 rook v rook, with ai to help. Anyways my tower randomly disitergrated at the same time as the enemy rook's tower, nothing to trigger it they just randomly died.
yea the mine dosn't explode sometimes, seems to be when they're in tight groups.
edit serously? wow the pun escapes you.
Your the one who dosn't realise that these boards don't have a 'edit' button half the time...
The evade boots are absolute pwange, but they also dodge heals, don't know if that was intended or not. On a related note I was not being healed by potions at a point after I bought these.
Yes it's a little weak buut: One game where i rushed mines/stats/mines/stats I had the final level of mines at about level 6 I think maybe 7.
So one game I was playing and saw that when you hammer slam, the gound overlay overlayd open space. Didn't think he was that powerful.
It's a 3v3 map, it's probably supposed to feel like that. The camera rotates hold spacebar + move mouse. The middle flag increases the number of spawns for the owning team.
If Regulas mines did enough damage to where they where as useful as snipe, he still wouldn't be a fun character to play.
Well I think he might be fun to play (I love techies) but I still want more depth, choices, synergy ect.
We are commenting on it now because we feel it needs addressing, if they already plan on changeing it then the devs can just ignore that and hopefully glean some ideas. Also we're not talking about balance we are talking about skill selection. And no there isn't lots of ways to play demigods, theres about one way to play each. Building eating isn't viable when people come to screw with you. And with stun + increased damage thats basicaly hammer, stun, increased damage, your just reaha
Well how does the rook wear boots anyways? And plus maybe one pair of boots is like a 'sock'
Yes skill trees however they're implemented would be great (as oppsed to skill 'lines') I have a lot of good examples at: HERE
For most of this I agree, but a couple of things I want to elaborate on or add my own spin too:
I mean basically, you only have a few skills skills. Each one should be REALLY awesome. I'm not saying 8 or so is a bad number. It sounds fine to me, it's a decent number, maybe 1-3 more, but the current number of skills is fine to me. It's just that each one needs to be really awesome and be worth the point, it should be hard to decide which to pick, what direction to go, how to
So I played, and while I still think you guys need more skills, some item system ideas: First instead of having seperate buildings why not have 'tabs' and only one shop? Saves time and makes a one stop shop. Some Item Ideas: Essence Crystal: (consumeable) If on your charecter when you die you revive in 3 seconds, destoryed when used. You guys need some more interesting breastplates, most of them either add health or armour: Null Plate: once evrey xx seconds, ne
Yes but like brn4meplz pointed out the regulus has only one 'build' if you build him with mines... your screwed, mines do no damage compared to snipe and mines require people to run over them. Thats why we should have real skill trees, have more skills, or some other way to increase the matches. Perhaps having actual 'WoW' style talent trees for example.
Supcommers playing generals vs. dota players using assassins?
I had the same issue with lag, I started the game and clciked my ability we then had massive lag, and it wasn't applied but the point was spent. (Rook's archer towers) then when i got a level i got two points but the ability was unselectiebal like I had already got it. Once i bought another skill though it reverted to not taken and evreything was fine.
So is the wand of elusiveness.
I also have had the problem with capture bars.
For refrence you have the choice of about 8 skills, and 4 active abilities, for those who want to fill out the skills more fully.
I think how they're going to do it is: Quit = Disconnect, and to lose you actually have to stay till you lose, at which point because you lost, it officialy gets tallied for your achivements and what not.
I didn't read it so i'm first.
How does that work?
GW did this with 900 or so skills, not just 80(well, more than 80 since items)
Thing is GW had all activatable abilities, demigod has ~40 (as items arn't activatebal unless they're one use items)
