QWER is a standerd hotkey setup, hell 90% of my warcraft 3 maps used QWER for skills, and a good part of my hl2 mods use QWER as well. (though they are, quick switch, forward, use, and reload, but thats besides the point [e digicons]|-)[/e] )

I think it might be the crystal in the back of the base behind the stronghold, and behind where you spawn.
If it's too the point where they are spawn camping the enemy, the creeps will end it fast, belive me I tred it at PAX.

I hope to god it's just a "assumption made" or a "mis-interpretation" because that would be nearing the last straw for a lot of people. If you stardock pulls a THQ (which I doubt) how can we rebalance the game? Or what if gpg goes under and theres no one who can update it? And with some peopels dis-like of low numbers (i.e. demigods) whos to take up the slack? or maps for that matter? What about awsome modes that could be made? Yes but if you look at my example, there is no ability with a pre-requiste that isn't a passive (Or a diffrent variation of an ability that is the pre requiste). And passives are generally rather useful. And plus who ever said you need to spend more than one point in a skill to be able to buy the next one up? Also, I have no idea where you got these 'points' from, the attribute bonus ability is much like dotas, except it goes straight to the health/damage/regen instead
I agree with RapierX, more room for skills, but innociv your forgetting that they already said that you only get like 83% of your skills (i.e. 30 levels with a 25 cap)
EDIT IS NEEDED!! Ahem.. you wouldn't even need new maps, the lava map would make a great survival map.

They don't but they increase the same things, this upgrade increases your health/damage/regen/energy directly instead of going through the attribute system.
They already have obejectives on the map which increase creep wave sizes, but perhaps some up grades which increse the creep strength and wave timing would be rather cool.
As they have it now (or at least at PAX) there are 20 points of skills, and 10 points of attribute bonus.
Their current system is very remaniscent of warcraft 3 maps, each skill is leveled up seperatley: (same key as above) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 15 (required level) --0_____1_____2_____3-------------------- ------4_____5_____6____7----------------- ------------------------------------8____9

Let me start this by saying that I've only played 3 times, and whether you implant this idea or not I still like the game. This was my original preconception of how the skill tree would look. Yes it is Cooley, its control scheme is like most RTS games as far as the mouse goes.
