Yes but people can still give their opinions and arguments as consumers of their product.

Also the stun mines are much higher up on the skill tree if that affects anything, you'll have 3 levels in damage mines, before one level in stun. I saw regulus as a mix of techies and sniper (if you play dota.)
It was only for demo purposes.
Since we're arguinging with devs thought I'd pitch my arguments:
I'm trying to understand this. 8 is a LOT of Demigods. That's like saying Starcraft is lame because it only has 3 races. A Demigod is an extremely unique entity in the game.

So when you play Starcraft does it feel chintzy in a 5 on 5 game that there's only 3 choices of who to play as? I think some of you are taking the Dota comparisons a little too far. If we wanted to, we co
So I'll start with the good stuff, as I feel like I've killed a lot of the entusiasim of demigod. With people saying they're canceling their pre-orders and what not. So 8 is a little lower than I expected, and I'm a little disappointed, but having actually played the game, it won't be that bad, and with the promise of updates and content, and 'achivement items' it will definetly have a bit of replayibility. Plus most demigods feel like 2-in-1, like I could go either way, and in shorte
Beta has been planned for thursday for a while, the beta will *Eventually* have evreything, the earlier betas will probably have less than the current pax version.
I'll say it again, from what I can tell it is 8 at release, i.e. retail release (from the big name people i.e. Chris/Frogboy). But some employees framed it as 'commited' to 8 meaning there might be the possibility of there being more before retail release.
They need a way to delete things, and a more reliable edit system...
There was an upgrade that gave you a tower of light, which is probably what they were confusing that with.
You get a skill point, the skill point button flashes.
It is when it's a hightech lazer crossbow! (or at least one ability kinda shot a laver like thingy)
in each post after you're complaining you can't remember or describe it
Because I wish I could because it was awsome!
The way xp worked at PAX was rather loose, I think killing about 2-3 waves would level you, and killing an enemy demi would like almost always give you a level. Also alternate AoS style mods anyone?
PAX had 6 characters including the opponents, they had 3 playable charecters, Queen of Thorns was in the PAX beta as an opponent, but here units were strangely absent. The rook dosn't have a wizards tower from what I know, the spells you cast were all the rook, you might have been thinking of the tower of light you can have the bounces the other tower of lights. And they had two maps, the waterfall one and the lava one.
I don't know because there wasn't sound I could hear, it might not even have voice yet, but the words appear. The UI looks very cool, and themed well, It consistes mostly of a bottom middle bar. In the middle is a round portrait, on the left is:Health and below that hero based abailities, on the right is a mana bar and below that 'items'. At the very bottom was xp/level, the middle portrait fills a square area even though it's round, the lower left corner is the abilities button, the
I Played Demigod at PAX, It is an amazingly intuitive game, If you've played an mmo, rts, and an rpg you can pick up demigod in a second, if you've only played one of those might take a minute or two but it's very fast to get the hang of, just look for the flashing buttons and you'll be fine!
I remebered the last torch bearer ability as I was about to go to bed, It's a ring of fire around your guy (I remeber someone else using it) It would be useful if some one is bugging you in melee. So thats his 4 fire abilities: Fire nova, Ring of fire, Fireball, and Rain of Fire
I think thats just the 'mode' he's in, I don't remember reading a passive.
* the number of staff (unless you mean a site license), and they used other programs too if I remember correctly
Just go to stardock's actual forums, they seem to respond faster. Yea I hope there's key mapping to as I perfer my WASD keys for moving the camera, but with strategic zoom I don't think it will be needed as much. But I like the fact that there will be standerdized hotkeys as compared to DotA with its keys all over the place for each hero. Thats something they pushed at PAX and here, that anyone can pick up the game from almost any gameplay background and play, but to m
Darn it mOoEy! Why didn't you introduce yourself? I remember our conversation, but can't put the face with the name(That's what I get for doing demos for 8 hours straight)...

You should of just assumed the weirdest guy there was him =]
Hehe, I was the (probably very annoying) teenager in the brown A&W hoody. No Problem, as it will probably get more people to buy the game, which means more $100,000 demigods! I thought they meant
Something I realised, The Rook didn't auto attack units unless they were already hitting him...
Theres only 8 at release according to Frogboy/Tyo/Chris. So there goes your math...
Not a bad idea, but I read 5 abilities, and you can have more passives (and I don't belive the torch bearer has a passive, I Think he just has 8 abilites (one switches his mode temporarily to fire.))
Also something I forgot to mention, It seems that there are random critical hits, (like TF2) and damage and healing are displayed on screen (ala mmorpg's). There is also things like 'First Smite' 'Double Smite' 'Rampaging' and 'Wrathful' P.S. Any stardock/gpg employees figure out who I was yet? (What shirt was I wearing >.>)
