i believe the idea is to use [ ELO] or something aproximate. in short, you're points are affected by the difference in rank between opponents. beat some one 20 ranks higher won't get as much point as beating someone 200 ranks higher. also you'll loose less point if you're beaten by someone of significantly greater skill.

firstly i've been playing since beta and using the same rig since the beginning. i've noticed recently that during zigurat, once priests are active for both teams my system starts to slow down. due to the popularity of cataract i've only seen this in the last week or so, but it may be related to a change some months back. i never had this issue in beta or after release and the only change to my rig would be updated nvidia drivers. any clues? i'll post a full dx

played 3 games last night, currently in at 101st so happy about that. had a UI issue during the games however. I play Sedna and so use ` till health for all demigods is always visable. in every game there would be one demigod (enemy team) who's health i couldn't see. i'm guessing this is to do with which slot they were playing as that's the only thing i can think that would happen of multiple games.

you can set the archive folder in the settings. don't know what happens when you create another archive. hopefully it appends a date and or number on to the end of the file name. otherwise it should be easy enough to move/rename archives you wish to keep to another folder.

@ Wieke: i'd always say your best off with a clean install over an upgrade. i saw an article released by microsoft where an upgrade to 20+ hours to complete. this was with a load of user data and applications and not the fastest of hardware but still. also an upgrade will always leave cruft from vista in your os folders. if you're going to be starting a new OS might as well start it as best as possible. i've a question regarding 32 and 64 bit and activations. T
