Sounds much akin to an ignore list....seems acceptable to me if that is the case. Global banlists sound like a poor idea to me. Personal banlists? I wouldn't mind that, I could ban/ignore the player that was being a pure @%& to even thier teamates the match I played awhile back and that would be great to have implemented within the game. The best idea would probably be to call it an 'ignore' list and simply make it so that they could not join games
Sinking to their level in the hacking case would be to do it yourself. Of course you should report cheaters, of which there are none in this game due to the restrictions of desync. If someone insults you in real life you either take it, as any mature adult would, or as you seem to suggest, you take some action. If someone insults you in the street do you go to the police? I certainly hope not, they have more important things to deal with.
Why does an insult from a kid on the internet even bother you? You can't say that it doesn't either, after all, you are taking the time to report said kid.
For starters : Why does an insult from anyone ever bother you? Secondly: It's not even necessarily a "kid" Third: I want to play my games to relax, enjoy a community, or for some competition and maybe even some constructive tips on how to play if I can
It is painfully obvious and true that pre-mades currently only waltz around the custom game landscape (Note all of the multiplayer games that always jump to 3/6 immediately) (unless they are utilizing the pantheon connection info to thier advantage and getting thier pre-made team in on pantheon matches) I believe the main problem here is only that they need other outlets which they do not have at the moment, as many groups would prefer to play in a more competiti
Why would you think it would take time? Printscreen then e-mail screen to e-mail which is most likely the place you submit it to. It's not the "potty mouths" that's the problem the problem is the fact they insult people and think there is nothing that can be done to them. Simply it ruins the atomsphere for the adult gamers to deal with these "internet tough guys". I came to play with fairly mature people since it is a 18+ game "or was it 16

Best of luck with Demigod! If nothing else....remember the LAN parties man, I believe the instruction booklet even calls for throwing down some old school gaming and you can supply the only copy of the game necessary.

You can however cast Circle of Fire as Torchbearer and then use the orb of defiance...which can be quite useful. Also, between shield and orb of defiance you could have a full eleven seconds of invulnerability (Could even get the entirety of the Heart of Life Regeneration during that time period)...6 of which you could spend beating things up (just a couple of random thoughts about the item). In addition, you can use Orb of Defiance RIGHT before you get stuck in UB's
Thanks, If fire aura increases your own speed then that is, at least on paper, better than permafrost which is a reactive speed benefit (slows down enemies) rather than a proactive speed benefit (you are always faster with the buff). Also makes enhanced attributes a little more appealing, with its increased attack speed benefits (marginal though they are, they suit fire rather than ice). <b
Fire aura does in fact work on torchbearer himself, and it is useful to note that most if not all auras work similarly (for example if you are wearing vlemish facegaurd it also provides you with the aura buff, or if you play as Sedna you acquire the HP/regen per second along with all of your allies)
Partially I think this may be due to them allowing low SIM speeds, as the lag isn't created so much by the connections in some cases...but by the people's computers. Also when someone's internet upload speed chokes because someone starts running a torrent or some such business on thier LAN an such they can lose connection....it's a connection heavy game, and needs to be primarily what is going on unless you have a large bandwidth.... Definitely can agree that connection bugs a
I hear you, but I have no idea how random pantheon mode currently is because I have no idea the rank of the people I am playing against. I like being able to see who I'm playing against. If I win against a higher ranked player it makes me feel good, and if I lose against a higher ranked player I don't feel so bad. Anyways the whole idea of pantheon is to match you with people who are similar rank to you. How will we ever know
It also gets in the way of post-game chatting... which is lame.
I think this is the most irritating piece.....lets not have the victory screen be static.
Until the ranking data is more accurate, and (as I'm not aware if it does or not) the system matches you based on rank/experience I believe that it could be a major detterant for people to play if they were to see the opponent's rank/experience before the match. I believe the lobby is a great idea for a simple fix, I don't believe that you should be able to communicate with your allies/enemies as it can readily defeat the purpose for a 'tournament' system they have created
Awesome layout/images added, I appreciate the new look.
After reading a post about 2v2v2 and so forth the thought came to my head....Free for all maps. Each player has a base and thier own stream of creeps which divides up and seeks to conquer, or possibly have it be a situation where you'd have streams of units attacking both opponents to your left and right...and once you conquer them your creeps can go straight across the map to your opponent/through the other bases. I just happen to think a mode where you can join a
This is a very interesting idea! I hadn't really thought about it, but it almost seems obvious! I like the idea. *shows his support* Sure it wouldn't be for everyone, and as with all multiplayer modes there is possibility of abuse and so forth.....but it could make for some extremely hectic and entertaining games.

I think a feature that would be handy is the ability to make 'private' slots in custom games so you can invite your friends so that they will definitely get in the game, in the slot desired. Which is a common feature in many games I have played recently, so I figured I'd throw that out there. (not sure this hasn't already been posted)
As the DotA community found out, in order to fully enjoy this style of game, you must keep certain people from your games. In style of DotA, Demigod also needs a Banlist. One intergrated into the game. So as I sit and wait minutes upon minutes for a game to start, we're down to waiting for the last player to join. A player, disliked by the host, joins the game and the host kicks him... player rejoins... host kicks him... player rejoins... ho
Certainly Lieu, I agree entirely....I still feel like I'm being an ass if I'm playing with my buddies for 'fun' and I far out-skill them (use an effective yet annoying strategy that they don't quite understand, or don't know how to counter at all), that's all I'm saying.
ANYONE that claims their teamates suck before the end of the game. I mean, seriously, I think this way sometimes but I never call them out and act like a jerk
Bah, that strategy is always the best for rage quitters it seems like. My suggestion would be telling your teamates about what they might want to do/why, and what gear probably would be most useful for them....instead of throwing insults, I've certainly had that actually work before, since more often
quoting post Fun facts. I hate losing, it pisses me off. Fail. Losing is part of competition. Raging over losses hinders improvement. It hinders being good, which is what a competitive mindset is all about. A loss (or win) is meaningless in and of itself. Outcome is just a function of what you are really interested in. In fact, having your share of losses is indicative of good games and good competition - the be
