A good review. Gets a couple of basic things wrong though, like it says you don't summon units?

Noone's forcing you to keep them in one mass though. I've seen some mad micro from some light players with relentless minions pushing my every button (archers clearing buildings on one side, healers following their ally around, spirits messing with every demigod not in a base and so on). And then I see those who want to lose their minions extra fast by playing to their weaknesses instead of their strenghts.
Dunno why you'd want to remove something that can actually decide a battle by separating good players from bad.
Man, I am almost starting to wish I had had problems in beta. Sorry I let everyone down.
I don't think anything counts at the moment.
Hot diggity.
I never cared much for the ladder or single player in Starcraft, but the "UMS" (use map settings) maps were so insanely well done, it kept me playing the game for over a year. I hope SC2 comes with a powerful map editor like its predecessor.
I think it's annoying more than anything else. More than once I've walked into combat in the wrong mode, and died when my spell casts didn't stop him moving.
First, in the pantheon, you choose a side and you are limited to 4 demigods until that tournament ends. Second, there is a bug where some of those 4 are no longer available. You can either click back and click choose demigod again, or if that doesn't help, you can restart demigod. You should be able to choose one of your 4. There is no mechanic to limit what you choose, beyond the limit from the side you chose.
Speaking as a torch bearer my anti-minion damage has to be supremely strong, otherwise there is nothing keeping them from killing me and I can't do anything about it. I am not saying I should one-shot your entire army, but there is a good reason minions can't just shrug off AOE damage. Because for many of us, it's the only protection we have against them.
Had the same problem. Gave up after a week (5 days) and changed back.
edit: NVM. Heading to flame war.
Have ANY games done it besides FPS?
Hell no. Imagine waiting the five minutes to connect into a Skirmish game... only to find out that you were placed in a position that was recently made vacant because they were getting crushed. You lose and you didn't even have a chance to display your skills. How frustrating would that be?
You are talking about in-game. They are talking about the lobby.
I have a lot of experience with computer games having problems, but each problem has a fix. Just be calm and read. Each problem that most of you are having has a fix that has already been posted on this site. I encountered some of these problems as well, but I sat back withmy friends and we fixed everyone of them. So of you are probably just attempting to run the game on a system that wasn't meant to play this game, or just don't have a goo
Noone said you needed cheats to beat the AI. Assume less.
Pantheon resets your favor points about 300 times per game. Welcome to negativeland. You'll be here until it's patched.
You can't change until the next tournament begins. Edit: Damn you all.
At the moment I press enter, that shows all text. Then press enter again without typing and its gone.
Yeah, definately room for improvement here. Don't need a new system, just background and longer duration.
Torch Bearer AI, by far the weakest. I once sneezed and it telefragged my friend in my base.
Wait for the current pantheon to finish, then select evil when the next one starts.
Stardock needs to put a lock on LAN gaming. It current state the pirates are having too much fun with no limits. Noone is lan'ing anyways, and its too far yet for tournaments. So just disable lab option.
They can't access the pirates' machines.
