I'm having the same issue. Any time a sound byte plays, I get a random one instead of the correct one. For instance, if I order Regulus to move, I'd expect a remark like "this would be faster with wings". Instead, I get something completely random like TB screaming "I loved them... and they betrayed me!". This also occurs for announcements like "not enough gold" or "you've captured a flag". Instead of the correct sound I get something random. Gets re

As the topic says, the Oculus and Assassin are unlocked in singleplayer for the AI. They are greyed out for the player, but you can select these demigods for the AI. The characters were fully functional in-game, by the way, even if the AI played them really poorly (even by its own standards) The second issue is a weird sound bug. Any time a voice clip plays, I get a random clip instead of the proper one. For instance, if I order Regulus to move I

As a PC gamer, I stopped paying much attention to reviews a long time ago. Most games are reviewed in a rushed fashion; the reviewer has to get their content out quickly and so they brisk over the game's content quickly. I'm the kind of gamer who likes to play the same game for months on end, if not years on end. These reviews just cover the fluff on the surface of the game, and don't even begin to represent the package underneath. Support is just one issue; you can't

I noticed the Oculus references when I went snooping around the files, too. Whether it's something planned for the future or something that was scrapped in the past remains unknown. One thing we can say is that any new demigods will likely be added in pairs; one general, one assassin. It seems odd that we'd have one reference floating around and another that's completely missing. So, at this point I think the oculus is a possibility but I think it's too early to conc

Frankly, if multiple demigods are ganging up on you you're going to have problems. Doesn't matter whether it's penitence/penitence/penitence or penitence/spit/fireball, you're in trouble. The only issue I see currently is triple-snipe Regulus team, since they can actually support each other from entirely separate lanes.

The system could work like this: Every demigod has a bounty on its head. The maximum bounty is the current death rewards we have right now. When you die, the bounty is paid out and then halved. If the demigod is killed instantly when he revives, he'd pay out half as much as he did the last time. When the demigod comes back to life, this bounty slowly increases back towards its maximum. If he gets a kill, it's instantly refilled. This system wouldn
it's about people who know what they are doing having no chance when the poor noobs on their team get ganked 5 times in a row = game over.
Totally in agreement. If someone is dying repeatedly, the gold bounty for killing them should drop off considerably. The game is just an exercise is pointlessness otherwise.

I had the same problem with a Sedna a while back. It's primarily a combination of hard AI's getting bonus cash and your AI allies feeding lots of deaths, and they get some pretty wicked equipment. Kinda stupid, because it's not your fault and there's largely nothing you can do about it except trying to win sooner.

As far as AI's go, I'd say it's definitely most dangerous as Regulus. As for unclean beast, I think it depends. If it picks spit, it does great. If it doesn't, it just plain sucks. Aside from that, I find it plays Sedna and Oak okay. I don't know what you're talking about the Erebus AI playing well. I find it's definitely the weakest AI by far. Doesn't know how to use any of its skills effectively and really easy to kill.

If those are the only things you can actually afford, then there's no decisions to be had in the first place. You either use charm of life or nothing at all.
i very much doubt you'll also be able to include Angelic Fury ... and thus have high burst damage but tend to be mana hungry and thus poor at creeping unless you're packing alot of mana regen
Exactly my point; it's a very mana hungry build, but if you can bring out those mana items early enough he can creep, push, and kill quite nicely. There are ways to balance these things, so it's highly presumptuous to say any Regulus build is either good at creeping or killin
I've been playing with some expert people a lot and they stack some health regain early to avoid some spit, so I'm having a bit of trouble making it work.
The thing about spit is that if it's not working against DG's, you can always use it against towers. I will agree that smart people anticipate spit and are ready to counter it. Another advantage of my build is that I can wait until level 4 to decide whether I want to pursue a spit or ooze build.&nb
Regulus can creep extremely well with Angelic Fury and Mines or he can hunt demigods extremely well with Snipe and Mark of the Betrayer. its very hard to play a build that does BOTH well.
Not true; using mines as hand grenades can be incredibly devastating and set you up for an easy mark/snipe combo kill. As I said, you need a lot of mana to get it to work (otherwise you run out of mana before you complete your combo), but it's one of the best damage spiking build

Regulus is insane late game, easily the most powerful DG overall if it goes on that long. In fact, I've never once seen a Regulus lose once he has Ashkandor (mind you, I've only seen it happen four times, so we're not talking about an everyday thing here). Your best bet is to prevent that from ever happening. Win early, flag lock the artifact shop, and if he does get Ash try to ambush him and hit him with lots of stuns. Chances are if he saved for ashkandor his best ar

The fact still remains that 1800 health/mana is a pretty significant amount. Fights are often won and lost by tiny scraps of health and mana. A big chunk like 1800 is enough to really turn the tides. Both shield and heart remain very powerful abilities separately, they just happen to have this great synergy when used in conjunction.

Not sure about the laws of the Netherland, but typically just because a service can be used for infringing purposes doesn't mean that the service itself is infringing or illegal. Without such protections, any search engine could be sued for providing functionality that could be used to access copyrighted material. As a result, it's not enough that they simply provide a directory that contains links to pirated material. Typically the only way to go after third partie
Also wouldn't some builds of Regulus do just fine w/o much gear if they are relying on stuff like snipes and mines?
While it's true those builds can thrive without good gear, they still become awe-inspiringly powerful with good gear. Putting a mageslayer on a Rook makes him great; put one on a Regulus (regardless of his build) and he's awesome. He puts high end items to better use than other demigods, which is why he's usually the one who should be going for

Regulus and the Unclean Beast should rarely buy citadel upgrades. These guys need good equipment more than any other DG's. Buy only very high priority upgrades, and only if your allies cannot afford to do so (or just aren't doing so) Conversely, Queen of Thorns, Sedna, and Torchbearer really don't need equipment as much as other demigods. They more than anyone else should be sinking their gold into citadel upgrades. Rook, Erebus, and Oak come down the middle.

I personally like getting spit I just for pushing towers and harassing low level demigods. I'm also a fan of building up and maxing out beastial rage for the late game. Great for pushing towers and killing DG's, plus is scales quite well. This is my typical oozer build: spit I inner beast I ooze I (sometimes swap with diseased claws) ooze II foul grasp diseased claws I ooze III <li

I'd strongly disagree with brilliant bauble and charm of life. These are favour items that, IMO, aren't even worth unlocking. Charm of Life is a weaker version of blood of the fallen. The only edge it has is reduced death penalty. Of course, death penalty is usually around 20 seconds. Ten percent of that is two seconds. That's not even worth consideration, always take blood of the fallen and ignore the charm. Brilliant Bauble similarly isn't worth

Personally, I don't think Brilliance Bauble is a useful favour item. You're better off spending a little extra cash on the citadel experience rate upgrade, then using your favour slot to cut down on the more expensive items needed in your build. Similarly, I think the only idols worth your time early game are the priests. The minotaurs are absolute crap, and the siege archers are mediocre at best. The priests have more damage than either (go figure) and also can heal y

Personally, I don't think army of the night is worthwhile. Very mediocre skill overall. I'd also have to say that you should really pick your skills based on your enemy DG's. If you see Sedna, muddle is really a must. This is one of the best ways to throw a wrench into a team that has a coherent defensive combo going, and being able to adapt your build to bring out that ability if need be is definitely a requirement.

There's no reason not to play QoT as dual-form. If you're being damage spiked, just put brambles on yourself before you go into open form. You only lose about 100 armour, which isn't a big deal. By the time you get some items on you, this may be as little as a 5% swing in your damage reduction. Obviously you do want to swap back to closed form if you're under attack, but it takes only a second to open up, use your spikes, then close up. That's a pretty tiny windo
