Consumers and developer's should know by now, a game will get pirated for no reasons, and it will not stop. It's been proven (Spore not included) that the average piracy rate for a game is in the 20% range. For games that include Steam or Impulse, only around 10%. If you crunch numbers, that's more than enough. Single-player is still fun, PC or not, and if you don't play PC-single player because of piracy... Well, you're strange. Bring on the SP!

Yeah, the 25th was technically the last day for parts of the world, where-as they closed it on their 26th. So unfortunately, no more. Sux, cuz I was trying to get my brother to do the same thing, and by the time it happened, it was too late.

Reply to Strategy info? in Demigod

Gotta try some of that in the Pantheon or a custom game then. Aside from those, anything else anyone else likes later in the games? This isn't just advice for helping me out, it's general info on player's strategies, to help out others!

Well it happened. He started his string-pulling, then teleported back to base, and since we had minions at his base, I saw where he was. Well, I was at our crystal, and he finished his bow-shot, and it flew aaaaaall the way across the map. Glitch maybe?

It'd definately make for an interesting tournament or some such. As like, host a tournament to win something in-game or out-game, but play 100% random characters/maps/etc.

Curious, I've been playing custom games recently with pretty skilled players, and I get a couple kills, but keep dying. I'm wondering, what is everyone's input on strategy? What works for them, how do you play, and how is your favorite way of getting the final blow on an enemy DG, and live? (any character, mind you. I play the Torch Bearer, flame-side)

His range vs towers isn't that big an issue early game, since items can give any demigod the range to do the same thing. now, his range with his one attack versus demigods, hell; he snipes me from his healing stone, when im still at mine! Now that is cheese.

Now THAT, Frogboy, will be cool. Single player, I think, is a strongly needed function of any game, for those who have no interenet connection, a laptop away from a network, etc. Because of single player, it will appeal to 30% more public, thus giving devs more money, thus helping the game dramatically in future development. I am curious as to how Single-player will work, though. Such as tournament mode, like the old Mortal Combat or some such, or duelling mode,

I say give it a 1-minute length before it goes away, that way you can't just chill out in player's near-spawn areas and rack up damage, or just to be annoying.

Must have been fighting a butt-ton of noobs, cuz one game the names looked nothing like the Bots names, and I racked up 80+ kills! It was rather insane. But the fact of just standing there and taking so many hits from Regulus and Oak... That's just improbable.

With only a few selections of characters, the game is pretty awesome, man. I've been stuck here for hours just playing and improving upon my beloved Torch Bearing psychopath! Flame for the win. I'm glad this game was made, just unglad there was no necromancer-based class. Just a half-necromantic vampire that is melee. Get it!

So, is Pantheon fighting real players, or just NPC's? Some have interesting names, but I feel all ego-trippin' with I slaughter them so easily and get 80+ kills to their 15. [e digicons]:|[/e] Just curious on how that works.

These things are pretty rough. I've been playing through Pantheon, and after level three, I just can't die. At level 15, I can literally stand there and take all the hits from a bunch of Regulus, or even take all of Oak's whacks when in his 10-second-destroy-everything-before-he-dies mode. Playing the Torch Bearer is fun, but after level 10 or so, with the right equips, he is literally -unstoppable-. Maybe downscoping some of the equipment would add a bit more challenge! His skills ar

This would be fun, just make sure the "AoE" spells don't end up doing too much damage. I've been owning with the Torch Bearer, and that Fire Wave AoE is devastating.

I clicked on the artifact shop, and clicked on an ability that was not ready apparantly, and the "ability not ready" bar stayed on the screen, and would not go away. Then... So did everything else. Damage numbers, "not enough gold" phrase, etc. I got a screenshot. Not sure if it's been already posted or not, but there it is. Here is my setup incase it has a problem with it: <

Man, you're awesome. [e digicons]B)[/e] I searched all over Impulse, and since it was my first time, I didn't check the "my Games". Shoulda known, it's sorta like Steam. Again, thanks.

As of now, I have preordered the game in hi-hopes for it, as it looks amazing. One question being, for the Beta 3 (I noticed it said one week after February 19th, and I ordered it today on the 22nd, less than a week after), how is it that I can enjoy the pleasures of such a Beta? I saw in a forum post that it's in an e-mail verification, and over 2gb. I didn't find it anywhere. :( Should I hurry and cancel my pre-order and order the boxed edition? (A few limited funs at the current da
