Sounds like the problem is that, then.
Not the problem of being able to snipe down first-level Demigod's at level 1, over and over when they team up. [e digicons]:P[/e]

Well this sux. Poor computer is going to go to some bloke on the street who doesn't much care for the computer world and just wants to play. Will probably get rid of his 4-year-old Dell and use this one to play Demigod and look up internets. :( Makes me sad to see it's going to waste.

Seriously, the only thing like DotA that I have noticed is it's whole Gametype/Concept. Other than that, it's completely different in every aspect. Damage system is way different, abilities are way more advanced, characters move different, look different, act different, graphics (Obviously),
on the flip side, sometimes it just come down to the old personal preference. Some people don't care about the performace, they find a preference on chipset manufacturer and will argue to no end regardless of bench or performance that their fav chipset man is the best. I personally haven't owned an ATI card since RAGE was an infant. So I too am one of those who really doesn't care about which will out perform the other because in reality

I wonder if they knew the price was going to be $39.95 before the pre-orders? Or did we just pay 49.95 to see the game hands-on through production? [e digicons]:P[/e]

Mikes78 has it right. I'm tired of that "The way its meant to be played" logo, and it's rather irritating. AMD's logo is much more soothing and the sound doesn't get stuck in your head like the Banana Phone song. 'Specially since ATI cards play most games better than the nVidia branded ones anyways.

Reply to [bug] lazy AI in Demigod

I've noticed this too. Sometimes when I join a game with like 7 AI (+ me) they will just stand at base near crystal and never move.

How generlistic of you, oh my. Well, as many others have said, there will be more to the game other than what's there on release. Only reason it lacks replayability, is the lack of users in the Beta. (In this current "economic status" people are afraid to purchase, wussies) Just wait until the full release/Single Player mode, then you'll see your "Re-playability". [e digicons][/e]

Regardless, Black curtain, of previous posts... A good 500wa will do the job just fine. Like I said, I'm using a True Power Trio 550wa PSU, and its powering a system that's more than 50 watts more than what he would be using, and I have never had any issues with it. A -good- 500wa would be a good replacement if you wanted to save money. (The current 500 wa, as stated, would need to be upgraded soon, if not right away because of its age... And brand.)

Well if Blackcurtain is going the route of "I'm better than you and you can't do anything about it", then I will no longer debate with him about it, and I will not read his post. There is no need for insults. That is true, Zydor, a 700w Enermax at that time, with that particular setup would be pretty stressing. I bought this Antec 1000wa Quattro PSU a while back on sale for 150 bux, maybe I should go stress that thing out. [e digicons]}:)[/e]

To Zydor, I have a 550wa PSU, but its a real power pro from coolermaster, and my system without too many perph's is barely loaded at max. I do believe the 9850BE uses a touch more power, and I know my HD 4870does. Though there is one major diffrerence; your PSU is 3 years old, mine is about 1.5 years old. 700 would still be overkill.

Black curtain, obviously you don't understand how power supplies work. Those two power supplies I listed in my links are well enough to do whatever. I don't care about your "MUST BE BIGGER" mentality, but I've been running the same CoolerMaster eXtreme Power 500wa with my 4870 for almost a year now (Right when it was released), and the power supply I've had for nearly two years, and it's more than enough. Just because it has more wattage doesn't mean it will last longer. My buddy's Enermax Ga

Like I said, use the GTS 250 when it releases real soon, don't try to get the 9800GTX+. The GTS is a rebrand of the card, but it's shorter, quieter, cooler, same performance, and here's the kicker... Only requires ONE PCI-E 6-pin connector! http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3523 And for those who keep saying you need a 750+ watt PSU, please, stop saying that.
Must have been fighting a butt-ton of noobs, cuz one game the names looked nothing like the Bots names, and I racked up 80+ kills! The AI names are creative. If you want to be sure you are playing a bot check the ping - if it's '0' then congratulations, you are killing AI. And if you are getting 80 kills then you are definitely killing AI... An evenly matched 2 v 2 game will generally have less than&nbs

It really depends on the power supply you're getting. For instance, a good 550WA PSU will power that thing, no problem. The Antec 550WA True Power Trio will be a perfect match for that. However, a 650wa will allow greater upgrades later, but it adds a bit of pricing. Don't know why that guy up there said you need at least 750WA, or a good 900WA for gaming. :P @KRYO - that is true, but it depends on the power supply. The PSU capable of delivering 80PLUS efficiency will give you m

Don't wanna make a DII-thanger now. You know you'd get those guys that are all "LEIK OMG U STOLD IT" I like the idea of: NO STUN. Big damage would be nice. Infact, have it do extra damage to buildings upon impact, instead, since the TB has now building-killer abilities. I wouldn't mind a resonating fire, aswell, after the first hit. (Yeah yeah, just like the DII Meteor; eat me [e digicons]O:)[/e] )
