Try turning it down anyway to see if it helps. A 9500 graphics card is only mid range at best, though it should be able to run the game, but maybe not at highest settings. with lots of stuff onscreen (read: critters) it will slow down the game. If lowering the settings helps a bit then it's probably a driver issue. Also the physics not working properly indicates a wrongly installed driver. Difference is probably in the reason why people play. I play for fun, and want to try all builds (eventually) and find the formula for success with that build. And just play every build often enough to feel that I've seen all the fun things that that build has to offer. But probably 99% or more of the people only try builds because they want to win, and when they find a build which they can win with they won't try anything else.

/shrug that doesn't bother me much. I do however wish that games would somehow be a bit more consistent with those things. F5 for quicksave and F9 for quickload seem sort of standard but some games just ignorantly change it, which doesn't make it easier for us. For now, just hit F10 (opens menu) if you want to pause.

Thanks for that info :) Playing other games makes you assume certain mechanical things, but this is ofcourse a different game. I have to say AOE DGs give me lots more gold than certain others that have to pummel each one seperatly. I do not receive any pleasure out of hitting each creep seperatly so I won't, but it does hurt my levelling process.

Why do you all want so many Demigods? I have been playing quite a while now but I haven't even tried all DG builds yet. Each Demigod gives you about 3 solid builds and I still haven't tried them all yet.

I thought in the beginning such a feature would be handy, but now I know how long games will last and just don't start a game unless I have 45ish minutes to spare, and if I need a food/coffie/pee break I just hit F10 and it'll pauze the game.

I do not know the numbers on this, but wouldn't it be just as good or better to just stick with 1 creep (default if you just let your char chose), thus having a higher chance to get a creep kill, which is more gold. Assassin types that do not have AOE usually have pretty good auto attack damage and therefor a higher chance of getting the finishing blow.

It would be nice sometimes because end game strategy can be quite different from levelling strategy, but still I am against it. Half of the fun is 'coping' in battle against DG that might be either hard or easy to kill. It's the same thing as the whole 'switch DG right before starting the game to counter the enemy team as much as possible' debate. Some like it, some don't. I don't.

Well I have 2 Western Digital Raptors in my PC, so SSD won't be that much of an improvent. But I still love the load times games have. In WOW I used to be in a dungeon 2 to 3 times faster than any other party member. Not sure if I'll upgrade to W7 64 bit. I run W7 32 now and it goes like a newly made sportscar, but I'm not sure all my gadgets work on 64 bit yet. (die, Creative Technologies :()

Rook is my favorite DG because I love his massive, slow but awesome power. Kind of like a steamwals running over babies, but then in a good way. Regulus is my favorige DG because I love to snipe, pick my battles and do awesome damage from the backlines. I am aware that this makes me a big pussy, but I accept that. Also, crossbows rule.

Current standing: For the idea of showing all DGs' mana/items: 2 Against the idea, but showing teammates' mana/items is okay: 14, one of which has a different suggestion (Shedding), and one does not specify if he wants teammates' mana/items to be shown. Score is debatable a bit because of post interpretation, but this is the score as I read them from the posts. Seems like a pretty clean result so far if you ask me..

In the local hospital :) Straight into a [b]10 Gigabit[/b] backbone, hence the awesome ping!! But it's a guest account so they limited the speeds to 22ish mbit apparantly.
