Good grief you guys. Do you have any idea how many updates there have been to Demigod? The last one is barely 2 weeks ago. There actually isn't a if(iPhire)pGame->Crash() function in there. GPG is looking into reports we get and slowly but surely they get addressed. Since v1.1, Stardock has taken the reports and put together hardware configurations that are similar to try to reproduce. But the issues are a lot lot more complex than people

There will almost certainly never be a map "editor". The maps in Demigods are huge 3D models unto themselves. I think modders could still make maps with an SDK but I don't see a future where someone is making a map with some sort of editor (unless you count 3D Studio Max an editor). :) But hopefully with proper modding support and an SDK you'd still end up with a lot of good maps. We'll see.

Look, the sugar must flow. Most of you will need to be working in the mines in the near future. It's important to accept that destiny so that everyone can be satisfied with their lot in life... ;)
I think that the planned 2 demigods at a time is fine. Frogboy mentioned a Demigod 'pipeline' - I hope this means we can expect to see Demigods come out at a much faster rate once they get chugging.
I am saying how I'dl ike it to be seen. I see 3 possibilities: 1. I am able to persuade GPG to produce more Demigods faster. 2. I am able to persaude GPG to let Stardock produce Demigods/maps for them and then release. 3. I am able to pe

It's highly unlikely there will ever be 5 on 5 Pantheon games because too many users have insufficient Internet connections to support 5 on 5. 3 on 3 will likely remain the default for the foreseable future. So needless to say, we don't consider this some sort of "bug" or something to "fix". However, once we gain complete control over the Internet in 2014, I can assure you that our shock troops will force all users to have at least a 1 megabit upstream on the Internet
Can you make that happen, because a lot of us would really appreciate that. Also any ETA on the new demigods for the free DLC? We would love some concept art and info on them at the bare minimum.
Every seen the movie "Better off Dead"? There's a paperboy who harrasses the main character with "I want my 2 dollars!" over and over. That's me. "Where are those 2 demigods!?"

I agree with much of this. With regards to server browsing, keep in mind that Impulse has to make use of what data the game sends. There's not quite as much data available to sift through as one might expect. And, unfortunately, a lot of our resources that were going to go into the Impulse game browser went into throwing together the overlay that went into Demigod that hadn't been planned to exist at all until Elemental (a year later). :) Our support agreement with Gas Powered
Break the bank? Breaking the bank would have been everyone who purchased the game who has crashed(back to desktop) to seek a refund.
Here's my personal allocation if I were in charge of GPG: Elemental: 1% Demigod: 100%
Gas Powered Games doesn't make Elemental. They're working on Demigod and Supreme Commander 2. Elemental is developed and published by Stardock directly.

For those of you who have had crashes, what LANGUAGE is your Windows PC in? (English, German, etc.)? The pattern on the problems almost makes me think there's an issue with a string or something.
I am waiting for GPG/SD to understand that all the community wants is for you to write "we are aware of the situation and are working to fix it". Jesus.
It's more so a failure on your part to see the situation as it really is. Gamers are nowadays thoroughly spoilt due to the intense competition in the gaming industry. The developer/publisher that best pleases the crowd is the winner and the crowd gets increasing difficult to please thereafter. In order to survive, game developers frequently have to juggle between good software engineering practices and extremely challe nging schedules to complete their work. Software Engineering is an

I wonder what would happen if we started posting the location (what country) posters come from. On our end, we see what country each person is. I think people would be shocked at the % of trolls that come from a particular part of a particular continent.

The number is the number of people online with Demigod in one form or other. It's the equivalent of the stats page here: http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ (click on individual games). It's the number of people who have Demigod opened and have logged in. It has nothing to do with Impulse itself. The previous page only displayed the # of people logged into a single beta serv

Yea it was intentional. The whole system was borked previously. Now your achievements can be saved as part of your account. Example: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/achievements/player/21887/ This is a one time thing. We won't be resetting favor again in the future even in future epochs.
