I have not been playing Patheon, but when I did, the most common issue I ran into was that a person "left the game" right after loading into the game, or lost connection before the game launched and yet the game still started. It does not matter which team I am on, if this happens, I will just leave the game then and there. The AI is so bad that it actually feeds the other side gold (especially the melee gods - Rook is just horrendous). AI demigods should not award cas

No favor points accumulating here either. Played both custom and patheon.
One of the things that I have felt really bad about is that players are made to feel like they can't concede a game lest they be called "rage quitters".
This will only work if the concede option is only available after 10 minutes of play. Otherwise it can be abused.
1. Fix favor. I still do not accumulate favor. 2. More maps. 3. With more maps, a random map feature. 4. Random demigods. 5. Reasses the favor items. The swift anklet must be the favorite by far. So it either needs to be nerfed, or the other items made more attractive. 6. Include rankings next to people's name. Does not need to be numeric, but some indication of where they stand. Nothing worse than getting into a 3v3

I was skeptical at first, but tonight for custom games went much better than any night before.

Each time I read a journal entry I get the expectation that it is finally all working. . . then I read the comments. [e digicons]8C[/e]
My only issue with towers is that the mana cost seems rather light once you get the right helm. When I play rook, I don't recall having any mana issues at all even though I had tower farms.
Nah, I am sure they made this change solely based community outcry. It is not like they don't have statistic after statistic from the games over the last 3 weeks showing how dominating that Erebus could be. That can't be it at all. It has to be the peanut gallery.
Wasn't what you said but how you said it, your attitude.Your attitude bugs me that you simply can't wait, you simply have to play the game.
I too think that it is unreasonable that you believe the game should have a working multiplayer mode 3 weeks after release.
Gawd. I feel like it's one step forward and 4 steps backward. The lobby before game launch keeps crashing. Now I can't even log back into Demigod because of an Invalid user name. It's nice that you can get into the lobby fast now, but it sure seems like people that fail to connect take up a slot anyway. I have sat there in a 5/6 game for 10 minutes and no one joined. Weird if it was showing in the game browser that no one would join a nearly full game.
just think about how many times you teleported and multiply that by 250. all that saved gold
Well let's say that the anklet gave you an extra 3 DG kills for another 4000 gold. So you could have bought 16 scrolls with the extra kills + the extra XP from the kills + the exp from the flag caps. And there is a good chance that it prevented your own death 3 times so thats 4K gold the otherside is out on.

Well, you need to be really anal about pings when you set up a game. If you see anyone climbing above 200, give them the boot. Otherwise you are looking at lag and disconnects. People will jump all over me for saying 200, but with 5v5, it's necessary. I hear you about friends getting bummed out about getting games going. I had the same experience in Left4Dead. I loved the game and tried to get friends to play it. The game kept putting us in ve
A long time ago, there was a game called Quake. During this point in time, a lot of people still had these things called "Dialup Modems" and seeing pings range between 180-250 was the norm for a smooth game. The demo needs to be multiplayer and capable of playing with the larger community. Why? Because these games die if there are not enough people playing and by allow the demo people to play with retail people, you make the community that much larger. Segregating the community is a bad idea. Further, this game got a very bad rap for connectivity. Letting the demo people get into games with the retail people demonstrates that that is all behind us.
