I dislike the idea of premades in Pantheon. I'm fine with it in custom games, it's what it's for, but I don't want to be matched against two guys that have played with each other since beta while I get matched with some random dude I've never seen before. And no, the response "well just get a premade of your own" is not reasonable.
Well even if you are playing premades, I thought the idea of Pantheon
Actually I'll amend my statement. I think that as the game progresses, armor matters more and HP matters less. At around 4-5k HP, it's best to start stacking on armor. That's because most Demigods are not capable of bursting that much damage, and will rely on killing you with AA. Also, armor is ESPECIALLY good against crit-stacking.
You are right that armor begins to matter more, but it is not at the

Well I can't imagine that there will be 3v3 Pantheon when 2v2 Pantheon is still a clusterf*@k. I have had AI opponents (sometimes exclusively) in my last 5 pantheon games. Even ones where the match is 2v1 with the 1 being an AI. If you move it up to 3v3, the problem is magnified even more. There are several culprits - some player made (people wanting to team up with a buddy that drop) and some game made (connections are just being dropped). Before you can

This goes to my point made in another thread - the game has to let us know people's records and who they play with before the game is launched from the lobby. Just looking at The Aegius' games it is clear that he plays with a set team 99% of the time (in Pantheon AND custom games) and in games that have no label suggesting that you are playing a set team. I can only imagine that it is stomping time after time looking at the records of his opponents. I do not begrudge
So what's the magic solution? There isnt one.
There may not be a magic bullet, but we can certainly get closer to the target. Putting people's win/loss record next to their name goes a long way in at least weeding out people that on paper are not appropriate for a game. It goes both ways too. Poor players are punted from good games while pros are punted from noob games. We did it all the time in A

Someone can have an artificial win/loss from comp stomp and I am fine with that.

Stats may noy work perfect (or even well), but nothing is "made-up". I would say from mine and my friends results that the stats are about 75% correct. My frustration with custom games over the last couple of days is mounting. I've played enough now to recognize that a number of custom games are against set teams. I do not have an issue with that per se. Where I have an issue is my own teammates. Irrespective of whether the game title says "good players only," I am finding that a lot of substandard players still join these games. When it is a game against a set 3 or 4, I routinely look up my own teammates online

If you do not want rage quits, then you have to give more information about the players BEFORE the game starts. I am so sick of getting into games against a set team with a bunch of people that have 3x the number of losses on their records than they do wins - even when the games say "good players only." Of course I am going to quit when 5 minutes in my team has fed them 6 deaths to none. My "enjoyment time" is far more valuable than to hang around getting stomped for 30 minu

I'd like to see the time required to place a caplock be doubled so that it is reasonably interruptable. I'd also like to a see a bit more of a delta between the teleport scroll and the cap lock scroll. The way it is now, you can lock, port out, and then port back in right as the cap lock is dropping to put up another one.

The community will only grow when the game gets to a frustration free state. We have already lost a fair number of players that, irregardless of the merits of the game, just do not want to invest the time just trying to get into a game. God knows the number of times I just want to throw my hands up and go back to a game that just works, like World in Conflict. The game is such a gem, but it is plagued with technical difficulties. Pantheon is so hit or miss. I spent 50 minutes trying to get into a Pantheon game that was 2v2. Most of the time the game would launch and then "player has left the game" before it even starts. I ended up with a game after 50 minutes and the person dropped midway through. That drop is not a SD problem, but it should not take me 50 minutes to get into a game that is 2v2 in the first instance. I even had a 2v0 game in that span.
