side note: so is anyone gonna give me karma for starting such a blazingly delectible, tantilizing, savoiry thread?
we should be asking for Beta 1-A before Beta 2
first of all, this topic has made a delicious turn in context. this is my first beta, so i dont know how updates are timelined. it was reported that beta 2 would come next month, october, so in my opinoin that doesnt leave much time for beta 1-a and makes me wonder its been scratched totally.
maybe beta 2 is right around the corner. what do you think its gonna add to the previous beta? official online multiplayer?
I think it would definitely help with targeting when multiple copies of the same hero are in play (the Rook for example) if the good and evil versions were different enough in texture and coloration to stand out. I sometimes have trouble figuring out which Rook I need to kill and only the cursor will show me if I can attack it or not.
same problem here, i believe regulus is the only demigod where each of
anyone know where i can find a good, free, offline, dictionary program for my samsung a727(?) (att service). ive searched online only finding shady looking websites and the one in my phones 'shopping mall' has a monthly fee, (i find that ridiculous) and i think you need to connect it online to work (once again, ridiculous). i have a 2 gb memory card in my phone, so size is not a concern. thanks!

Any speculation or substantial information when the next beta will arrive?
right click on the impulse orb and check the box that says "show pre-release versions." it should show up then.
I'd honestly like a fully targetable icon above all demigods with their current health and mana and a team color theme. That would let the scale be considerably more dramatic while still keeping gameplay intact and solving most targeting woes. I'm not sure what to do with regulus, because hiding in the mob not only makes it possible to not be seen, but makes it very hard to target him just because it's hard to click him and that's more nuisance t
i really like the idea of making rook more dramatic. it would only make sense youd be able to see him wayy down the battlefield.
i bumped all my graphics to high with aa 2 or 4 and, just like nantukoprime and Zeneroth, my computer averages 1
well, good job to you all then. please make rook larger.
"Brad Wardell: That's the one most of our developers are on. It's pretty far along, it's actually been in development for a while. We have two people working on Demigod right now, actually three if you count network. But the rest of the development team is on the fantasy strategy game." good job to the two, maybe three, of you!
well, i did no changes to my settings or computer but low and behold, problem fixed!
i have the latest verson of nvidia drivers from laptop2go.com and the circle that shows the castable area of special attacks doesn't show up. oddly enough, with previous versions of drivers it does. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 Language: English (Regional Setting: English)<br
i believe its actually 512mb
i'll start off by mentioning how egar i am for this game to become. i play the game vsync off, fidelity medium, shadows low, aa 2, textures both at high at 1280x800 with the latest drivers from laptop2go.com the gameplay is mostly solid but i cant help but feel its alittle laggy. and its disappointing with at these settings the fog of war is very generic. the initial minute or two of each game lag very much, but again, this is only at the very beginning of a game.
maybe its the 8600 GT. i put my settings to vsync off, aa 2, fidelity medium, shadows low and textures both high and the game is definatly playablle but seems alittle laggy. heres to hoping this can be improved! ------------------ System Information ------------------ Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 Language: English (Regional Setting
this is my first beta, so im not exactly sure what goes in a beta vs. a final product. any speculation on if we'll have more graphic options in the final product?
with my resolution on the lowest setting, i used a warp scroll while fighting ...running away from... a demigod. the target demigods portrait was still up in the middle of the top of the screen, when trying to stock up on potions the portrait was impeeding me from buying the cheapest health potion. i couldnt purchase the potion while the targets portrait was up and blocking the potion icon.
i was thinking the same thing. after all, from what i hear the rook was a king who turned into a living castle to house and save his people; assuming people are alittle shorter than minataurs, it must have been a puny kingdom. id like to the the rook to be GIGANTIC and the other demigods to be larger than life (they are demigods after all).
oh no! i had fun
Yeah i'd just like a shop button myself. But if they condensed it to 1 store with tabs, that'd be fine too.
if the stores are prexisting structures id prefer one store for everything. if the generals have to build the stores, then it makes sense for them to be seperate.
i think its strange you buy things with gold in this game. it makes more sense to me the you would earn credit/reputation/worth for killing enemies and you could trade that for goods. but id like to be able to train skills when your dead. and being able to buy things while dead would allow you to get back into battle quicker, but would make having to run back to the physical location while alive seem odd.
