undeadstyle strikes again: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/360432/ Using this exploit should ban you from the game, imho.
Agreed. What a complete tosser.
Um, no. It changes absolutely nothing when playing decent players. Know what you're talking about before making accusations.
That's an absolutely ridiculous answer to the post you quoted.
Let's be careful here. There's no such thing.
My Sedna heal AoE didn't show any damage done when I did it right next to the citadel... Edit: though perhaps the citadel graphic somehow prevented them showing?
You're obviously lying, go back to stomping nubs and kicking high ranked players from your lobbies, damn premades.
Of course some premades play each other. That doesn't need any evidence. Am I somehow expressing myself super badly here? English is not my native language, so perhaps you can help me. I was wondering why over half of the custom games were made up of premade teams waiting in their hosted games as opposed to joining the other premade
In the meantime just let it go. Premades don't routinely fight premades, they pub stomp, that's just the way it is. It's a cyclic problem in which every premade that fights pugs increases the wait time of other premades, who in turn get sick of waiting and fight pugs. On top of that only premades who host have any guarantee that the game will even be recorded.
Probably the best course of action. OTOH something good came out of the thread - woppi
actually what i got from your OP was "i feel sad since i had lost against a premade team in a custom game."
I don't know how you got that. My only loss in about thirty games was against the invincible minions inside the enemy citadel wrecking it -exploit.
it does. you imply in yo
Dokta_t, that would be a great solution yes. StAcK3D_ActR, did you read what I wrote? Because your answer doesn't make any sense in the context of this thread. Edit: in case you somehow missed it: Why the hell don't the premades play against each other?
Had an awesome game with Ivorgor and Dynah today. Ivorgor coordinated us very well and I'm pretty sure that without his lead we would've lost as the opposition was on the ball.
SoFFacet: The idea that they put this game together perfectly at the outset and that it exibits stellar balance in every corner of it is just ridiculous. Look at the state it was in on the day of release, the connectivity issues alone should show you that it was nothing like a pristine jewel. Not only that, but balancing of characters went on during beta that were nothing but trial and error, trial and error tempered by considerations, but trial and error none the less.
It's not competitive at all, but for some reason the people who don't play the game with their friends (randoms) come on here and bitch about losing to people who play with friends (premades). The average skill level of the randoms just needs to go up a bit and we'll see far less of these kinds of (pointless) threads becuase they won't lose so horribly.
I've won 32 of my 35 games since the reset. I might not be the best but I consider myself pretty decent.
Well people are going to play the game however they want, and no amount of whining is going to change that. If you have a problem with it dont play against them. You can't controll how others play so controll how you do, pretty simple solution, and it works.
Well, naturally I can't control others. I just made an observation that I thought was pretty interesting. I mean considering that so many people seem to think that team automatch is going to fix everythi
So griefing is a-ok in your book unless in a tournament? Hacking would be also ok, were it possible? Verbal abuse would be ok? Sheesh man. As for respect, look it up in a dictionary. [e digicons];)[/e] I respect people with skill who conduct them in a gentlemanly way the same way that I respect all people who are good at something.
Uhhh... sorry but im sick of all the crying over this. Get over it, go play skirmish or another room if you know its a premade. Personally i dont mind, even if i get whooped i tend to learn more playing against a good premade than a good PuG. I dont play with friends hardly ever, not many people like me, but i still dont have a problem with this. Do you honestly think they enjoy endless noobstomps? Most of them have "Good Players Only" in the title c
Lately it has been my observations that consistently over half of the custom games are made up of premade teams hosting a game and waiting for some PUGs (basically noobs, because experienced PUGs know not to get involved) to stomp. Why the hell don't you guys play against each other?!? Que "boo-hoo, there's no team automatch" in 3-2-...
LuckyGrin, undeadstyle is what gives online games a bad name. He's just as bad as those hee-larious Rook griefers that eat up their own side's citadel and I have absolutely zero respect for him. And apparently, based on your sarcasm reference, you agree with me. Good for you.
I can play West Coast games just fine and I'm in Finland. Pretty much the only place that I can't play with is Australia.
SoFFacet, are you OK with the unkillable minions inside the enemy citadel exploit then as well? And do you consider it a nerf when that functionality is taken away?
uvfragm, it was this game, but supremely weirdly recorded: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/806189/player/40132/ Only I got a loss from it... [e digicons]:'([/e] [e digicons]:'([/e] [e digicons]:
Had a game against a player called undeadstyle on Prison. He played a general Erebus and suicidally charged at our citadel numerous times (died like eight times). Then suddenly our citadel began to take huge amounts of damage. There were no enemies around and launching the Sedna Heal AoE right next to the citadel didn't damage any enemy units. The Erebus himself also wasn't misting in the Citadel or something as he was defending their cit. How did he do it? He didn't t
McGreg played a mean Oak who shielded others and a fun no-towers Rook. Great communication and all around swell guy! b3nZ or b3nZzZ is probably the best UB I've seen. Tyrantv is another UB who knows what he's doing. Good stuff. blooky played a very good Reg and was fun to play with. And while we're on the topic of Regs, laser110 certainly knows his stuff and then some.
I should probably point out that you seemed to be implying that the people posting here are intentionally nubstomping over and over. Facet's somewhat terse response to that is understandable, and certainly I was irked when I read the posts from both you and Healer insinuating it's somehow our fault. You are right to be agitated at the current situation, it sucks and we hear you. But it's not the fault of the people who are playing with their friends, and it's certainly not
Simple: you're crazy good (and aren't playing against the other top 200 players as the majority of them are custom premades).
pacov, how did you kill only 16 grunts in 20 minutes?
First of all, before I answer, thank you woppin, for providing actual reasons unlike others in this thread! Much appreciated. Also, thank you for being polite and not condescending or denigrating uselessly. [e digicons][/e]
Joining someone else's lobby requires the host to be prepared to kick randoms in order to play against your team, which isn't always a given,
If your team was hosting and a single guy from a premad
Of all the premade players to accuse of intentionally noob stomping, you accuse me. I, who sign my team up for anything remotely resembling good competition within the times we can make. I, who stake out the custom game lobby looking for premade games. Yeah ok.
If the two hundred (or whatever) best playes all have 90%+ win records then they obviously aren't playing against each other. Furthermore, I see at least one or two premade teams waiting for noobs
