Dear support and whoever reads this :). To my joy I saw Galciv III on Epic as a free claim and I immediatly tipped a friend. We both claimed Galciv III and enjoyed this a lot. I think this game saw the most hours in my Epic client so far. I played Galciv I back in the day; which was a great game. Galciv III does not disappoint and it translates well to MP. Apart from lengthy turn times (bit of a genre issue with turn based 4x games) it is good fun. However; in the 3 MP ga

Maybe a slider where you can set AI agressiveness along with all the options you get when you start the game. Possibly making the slider random if you check a box and that AI agressiveness changes once in a while if you check another box. That would complete the setup screen :)
What satisfaction will you possibly get by cheating ? :) Besides it would look bad on the metaverse hehe
Discipels II is a fun game. AoW II is very cool imho, I never played AoW tho (perhaps if I find it cheap somewhere) HOMM III and IV are also nice, alto somehow III had more 'soul?' Besides, HOMM would be so much better if multiple players could move at the same time as like in AoW(II) Galciv is cool :) Still busy on my 1st gigantic game (in gold version that is)
In my current game the Alterians and me are the most powerfull races, however the Arceans come up quickly :) The Drengins, Yor, and especially the Torians don't do snot hehe. All races set on normal difficulty :P (I got about the most planets, together with the Alterians)
Minor races still don't :D Anyway, early threats of the AI when you encounter them and state that they 'have laid claim on these world' is just an empty threat :)
I use battlehammers for defence, they have around 171hp for me :D
Alto even Drengin where set as good, either good, neutral or evil races strive for victory and atleast survival. Perhaps the Drengins hope to getmore planets of you, you are weak so and they are not. If you don't give planets you will be attacked and if you give planets you will eventually still be attacked (leaving you up even weaker) Reminds me of a game where the Alterians and the Torians where allied. Unfortunatly for the Torians and the Alterians the Torians where

I think that cloaking hasn't been adding yet ?
I know what's going on, 'Brad' doesn't exist :D It's just a codename for a complete team pretending to be 1 person!! ;) ~SDC~
I had a class 16 planet in a small white dwarf star once.
Maybe it's possible that you hand over so much tech, ships, planets that they want to eliminate you in the future. I don't know how the AI reacts on that.(often the AI will be sucking up 2 you if you got an advantage, they will be eager to be friends, alliances might pull off) Also research diplomacy alot.
There is, look at expenses. You will see what your maintanace is.
Pretty funny here :) I had more voting power then all the others, together with the Drengins we voted for the Alterians to have the space zoo, hehe (extra cash is handy but I had plenty, so I don't take the risk then) The next turn they already broke free!! LOL Eventually like 8 turns l8er I saw 1 spaceshark which I finished off with a few defenders 1 battleship and 1 battle hammer. (174hp hehe) But those sharks probably gave the Alterians a hard time :) (little dip i
Suck up with them :) Give them free ships or so, some cash, etc. Maybe there will be a 'propose alliance' option 2 in the near future :) ~SDC~
It is also possible that some other race(s) are destabilizing you. ~SDC~
I haven't seen any AI got so lucky as the AI on your game Udius so far.(which is good for me hehe) It is random, keep that in mind. ~SDC~
Anomalies will never run out, there will be new ones that respawn somwhere in the galaxy. Oh and those Ranger ships are very good ;) ~SDC~
Found a little bug, I don't know if it's reported b4 yet :) If you have all planets build 'nothing' and you select 'constructors' the apply button doesn't show up. An easy work around is selecting any other ship then constructor, apply and then change that ship you chose in constructor. ~SDC~
Like some ppl said b4, the game is w8ing for you to click on a planet too colonize. If you want to abort, just click outside the system where you send your colony ship 2. Also select your colony ship in the window where you see launched ships (orbit) If it isn't there then you probably accidently send your ppl back to your original planet and you lost your colonyship. If that is the case and the ship is still in the 'shiplist' then it might be a bug.
Well the game will only get better the longer you play it :) There will be alot updates 2 btw ;) ~SDC~
To Thunderfoot, If your production capabilities increases on the planets where you build your military projects it will decrease building time, cash is a factor in lowering building times. If you just rack up military spending too 100% you might not see the decrease in building time, since you have so little social projects that enchance production on planets (or tech, modules) that it will simply not build more (read faster) For example : if your planet can build a 'colony
Would be nice if there is a little clock somewhere on the screen in galciv, just like in Continuum :) Easy to forget the time ;) (and miss dentist appointments for example, not the way I want to spend my money lol) ~SDC~
Would be great if the GNN news on the Galciv page also appears in SDC :D
