I rarely play anything other than pure good or pure evil. There isn't a reason to half-ass your morality. The mixture of the two gives me a chaotic good morality rating. Sometimes, I can't get my rating to pure good though. Those games are just too short. Very few players are pure good. These are the players that haven't tasted playing pure evil. [Message Edited]

You should take a look at the strategy forum. There are some good tips on creating your own build orders. Part A - You can't save build orders between games.

That's great Barry. Some unsuspecting soul might think it's about the books. There are quite a few good background stories in there. The color is definitely better, and the pictures are good. I'll reserve a more thorough review for when the strat page comes up. Kind of makes me want to revisit some of my old web page designs. Btw, who is responsible for the European Alliance page? And they have a page!!!?

Making a Fleet has several effects: They move together - less micromanagement They attack together - all ships lose one movement point - less micromanagement They defend together - all ships defended against attacker - many ships maybe destroyed in one attack - fleet defense bonus Placing a ship into orbit has several effects: Protects system from transport attack Receives a 50% increase to attack rating - easiest way to increase mi

Most star systems in the game are named after actual stars in the sky. There are a few real stars that have been included twice, using two different names. Castaway planets would be extremely difficult to detect, but then so are enemy space ships... HairyTheTaco, the problem with mining planets is their huge gravity well. A whole bunch of asteroids would be much better... Unless Controlled Gravity worked as it should work... Then the miners would be better off ripping the plane

A: Anti-matter missles come with Dreadnoughts Technology you'll have to get Interstellar Tactics: Def Theory, Weapons Theory, Phasers, Deflectors, Shields, Space Militarization, Energy Channeling BattleShip Tech: Antimatter, Warp Drive - something else? then exotic alloys, large scale building, planetary defense, and - several other techs to get to Dreadnought Tech B: Anti-Matter destroys everything it touches, so to use it as a weapon, you'll need to know who to pa

Max diplmacy could be the way to go. Tech trading without always leaves me behind. I've tried merchantile picks through a slew of difficulties, but they don't work on maso. War picks helps, but since I intent to outmanuever the AI, it's better spent elsewhere. Soldiering isn't a bad pick, the first soldiering bonus is something like anti-matter weapons or molecular medicine. Influence would not be a bad idea, sharing a sector with an AI is basically giving them a colony.
Well, it's unanimous: I am so pretentious in my stories that some of them don't make sense! And they all seem so real to me.
Killa, Well if you are talking about the dual identities of Jimmie/Dreadlord and Janeese/Petal, the second story cleared it all up. Jimmie talking to his own character was confusing, but the second story made it quite apparaent. What I didn't get was what Jimmie said to himself at the end of the first excerpt. That exhange must have bee

For huge you might consider spending points on a speed bonus. I would recommend going 80/0/20 - something that gets you 17 military spending at the start. You'll want to get a colony ship every 3 turns (says 2 turns left). You can turn on the social spending later. At the beginning every soil enhancement project is worth a colony ship - you'd rather have the planets. The AIs will have an influence advantage, but you can neutralize them when you trade them tech for cash to s

Ahead The Future of Technology Vincible wrote the final comments into his report on the latest technology, Nano-Metal Composition. Thousands of researchers across the empire were part of the discovery, but it was at the MiddleEarth Institute of Technology on Tolkien, where their contributions could be compiled and trimmed into usable information. In the past few months, Fellowship research facilities were being funded quite well and made many discoveries in rapid

Gerakken: He did steal that chapter XI right out from under you. It was quite a devation in style from the first ten chapters. Just for the sake of continuity, you should have him write the next one or two and resume the original style of writing from there. Darth Bob: Sorry, about that comment about a week ago. Entirely unnecessary on my part. Kitwarrior: Keep it up and you'll stay in the Top 25.
